Why the Owner Chose Delray Beach
We originally purchased this property as we were doing an extensive remodel to our beach home and we needed a home for a year. We wanted a fun lifestyle where we would feel like we were on vacation. Though we only live four miles away, we still go in stay in our "URBAN ZEN" to have fun and be in the heart of downtown Delray.

We had such a terrific vacation in this property. It is located at the best end of Atlantic Avenue for enjoying the local festivities and the best of the restaurants. The walk to the beach is a great little walk, right down Atlantic. We would stop and have a coffee or a cold drink on the way. We loved sitting at an outside cafe and people watch and enjoy the breeze. The unit has everything you could want, including beach chairs and towels, and a super well equipped kitchen. The little terrace has two chairs and table, great for afternoon cocktails. Another great feature is the pool. We had it to ourselves the entire visit! It really is right out the back door! We were a party of six and the unit was perfect for us. We have rented a lot of properties over the years and this was by far one of the best. You really get great value for the price, especially with all the little eatra comforts that the owner has attended to (custom closets with LOTS of hangers), deluxe front load washer and dryer, the decor and the welcome bottle of wine! We will be back!

Dorinda and Bob Spahr are professional, gracious and attentive hosts, who go out of their way to ensure their clients' satisfaction. This particular unit offers a unique combination of urban proximity to Delray Beach's considerable dining and night life attractions, and the city's expansive, well manicured beaches. Oh... and if you're a tennis player, the National Tennis Center is right next door, offering quality lessons and playing surfaces for every level. We had great fun and look forward to future trips to Delray..

We live in a rural area and wanted a chance to experience walking to shops & restaurants. We found several great places to dine several of which we repeated. It was a great way to experience Delray Beach. Unfortunately the weather was mostly cool but coming from NJ we had warmer clothing with us. The unit was perfect for the two of us and comfortable in every way. Thank you for an enjoyable vacation.

We spent a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday week in Dorinda and Bob's townhouse. The house is lovely and had every feature we could have asked for (and some I wouldn't have thought of asking for, like the coffee, wine and chocolates they very thoughtfully left). The beds were comfortable and linens were fresh. (This included the lower-level pull-out, thanks to the comfy feather bed Bob retrieved from a storage closet.) We enjoyed reading and lounging on the living room's big sofa. We did make a couple of meals in the fully-equipped kitchen, but followed up on the Spahrs' restaurant recommendations, and were repeat customers at a couple of them. The location is terrific, right next to the tennis center (where court time and lessons for non-residents was surprisingly affordable) and just on the edge of the business district. Restaurants and shops are easily accessible, but we avoided the associated noise and commotion. You could easily stay here without renting a car as the town shuttle makes regular pick-ups at the light rail station, and runs all the way down to the beach. We'll hope to return next year. Many thanks for making our stay so enjoyable!
