Location: Santa Ana, El Salvador, Central America (Approximately 50 Miles Inland from Comalapa Airport)

This newly constructed "casa" gives a lot of comfortable living for the money. Situated just on the edge of Santa Ana, there is easy access to "el centro", the mall (five minutes drive) or "CA-1" (the Pan American highway). Lovely back yard with banana and mango trees...lots of flowers and birds. A great retreat or Headquarters for the explorer, with volcanoes, Mayan ruins and rainforests in easy proximity.

Transportation to and from Comalapa airport is available, as is driver/van rental by the day or trip from independent service. We can assist with initial arrangements. Tita, our local manager, will help you to keep your casa clean and tidy with periodic cleaning and linen changes. At extra charge, she may arrange a typical meal for your enjoyment.

There are more things to see and places to go in El Salvador than you will have time to see and do in a month. With that, take leisure time in the casa to relax, watch the wide screen TV or surf the internet with your computer.

Spanish is the principal language, so if you don't have a working knowledge of it, you will have difficulty and miss many opportunities. There are great restaurants in the coffee plantations outside of town and many more we have yet to explore.

Lake (Lago) Coatepeque is a short distance away. Set in a volcano dome, it is surrounded by good living, fishing, some diving, and esthetics that would remind you of Lake Tahoe.
