Why the Owner Chose Heavenly Valley
We bought this house to live in it and vacation in it. It is really close to great roads, so we could easily commute to our jobs in Carson City, drive a few minutes to great entertainment, shopping and restaurants, and drive a few minutes to the ski lifts, walk out the back yard into the forest.
The Unique Benefits at this House
436 Barrett Drive is a very comfortable house that has great views of mountain ranges and Heavenly Ski Area. The deck and the hot tub are extensions of the house adjacent to the living areas and make the house feel bigger. The floor plan is open and flows from room to room, so it is great for entertaining and conversing with family and friends. The kitchen is really big and open and integrated with the rest of the living areas. The National Forest is in the back yard and we have a lot of fun sledding, hiking, skiing and viewing wildlife there.

My wife Heidi and I lived at 436 Barrett Drive, in Stateline NV, in the Tahoe Basin in 1998 and 1999. I was a ski instructor at Heavenly during that season. Now we bring our kids, Forrest (2) and Raven (4) from San Francisco to 436 Barrett Drive frequently. Forrest likes to ride on my hip and skis a little. Raven is an expert skier. We love visiting our place in Tahoe in all seasons and would like to move back.

"Your house was great and all six of us enjoyed the weekend. No significant problems to report with the house. The roads were clear and it was easy to get around town. It was very convenient to get to the slopes at Heavenly. None of us had ever entered Heavenly on the Nevada side and it was considerably less crowded than the California side. The Jacuzzi was used several times and enjoyed by all. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and plenty of blankets, pillows and TOWELS. Nice place! I have rented many places in different locations for vacations over the years. Usually they are marginally as advertised. We were very pleased to find that yours was better than expected!
