Well...the Bear just made a return visit to this home and "Bon Bini" still lives up to expectations! "Bon Bini" means "welcome" and this home again welcomed my buddies and me for a great stay in one of Destin area’s great beachfront neighborhoods "Destiny by the Sea". This prestigious gated community has only a ‘beary’ small number of homes, each fancier than a bear is accustomed to, and Bon Bini among the nicest of the bunch. All the streets are brick, and the private beach has enough room for hundreds of bears! The beach is made up of pure-white, clean, ‘beary’ soft sand, and the water is crystal-clear emerald green, as the Destin area is famous for, making it one of the premier beach areas in Florida.

Bon Bini was very comforting and packed with lots of amenities. From the moment we unloaded suitcases, I was thinking about how we would get them up 3 flights of stairs in this 3 story masterpiece, but right inside the front door was an elevator! Considering all three floors have their own master bedroom, we were sure able to spread out as if we each had our own den. As you may have noticed, I like to sit on the deck wherever I go, and Bon Bini had enough decks to go around a dozen vacation homes! Each deck was open and inviting, each lined with glass doors, providing a nice open ambiance. Every deck had wonderful views of the ocean, Florida palms, or this truly unique and quiet neighborhood.

Even though bears usually live off the land, this bear was dining on seafood every night, and Bon Bini is just seconds away from many of Destin’s great seafood restaurants. Destin is, after all, the world’s luckiest fishing village, so you can enjoy all the fresh, local seafood you want and don’t need a bear’s fishing skills.

Bon Bini is truly an amazing vacation home, full of fine furnishings, conveniences you can only imagine, unbelievable room and comfort, and a golf cart for leisurely cruises around the neighborhood. If you want a solid first-class vacation or hibernation experience in the family-friendly Destin area, you can't go wrong by staying at Bon Bini!

  Bon Bini is absolutely gorgeous. It is very roomy too! I loved the balconies. It was so nice to sit out there and listen to the waves at night. The location coudln't be better. The home has everything you could need, an open floor plan, a beautiful kitchen, plenty of bed rroms and enough bathrooms so everyone can get ready for a day or a night out! Thanks to Bon Bini for a lifetime of fond memories

  This is my favorite place to stay at Destiny by the Sea. I recently stayed in another place that was a larger home but the kitchen was not at all equipped. We enjoy cooking so the kitchen is very important. This kitchen has almost everything you need. The house is always clean and in perfect shape. This is a great place to relax and we really like the new TV's.

  The property description and pictures were accurately reflective of the appearance of the property. It is well maintained and whatever we wanted or needed as we went about our daily activities was available; even baby items for our grandbaby! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would heartily recommend it to anyone.

  We recently stayed at the Bon Bini with family including our 3 year old twins. This was the first time we have took the kids to the beach and what a pleasant experience it was. I can't say enough the accommodations the Bon Bini has. It is a beautiful home inside and out. There were 12 of us in all and we had plenty of room. The beach really close and very nice. There is a whole box of toys and beach gear in the garage to take to the beach. The kitchen is perfect for cooking big meals and opens up into the living room which has a huge tv (perfect for cooking and watching the big game). The third floor has a kids room with bunk beds and tv which was perfect for the kids. There are nice restaurants, gas station, and souvenir shops in close proximity to the neighborhood. The neighborhood is the nicest I saw while in Destin. I will definitely recommend the Bon Bini to anyone.

  The house is beautiful, spacious and comfortable for a family vacation. The living and dining area's are wonderful for family gatherings anytime and the balconies that wrap around the house were terrific for barbecue parties. The kitchen is large, modern, well appointed and easy to get around. The house is steps away from the clean, emerald clear, pristine private beach that is destiny-by the sea. It is breathtaking and provided another perfect setting for our family to gather 'round. The gulf cart was another big hit. This was a family vacation that was long anticipated and Bon Bini happily delivered. The house is well equipped. We hope we can all meet at the same house next year! It was a vacation we will never forget! We love you Bon Bini!!!

  I really cannot say enough about the wonderful experience we had staying at Bon Bini for our family spring break vacation, 2012, from March 10-17. The house was exceptionally furnished for families who love to spend time together, with a large living area and expansive porches. The bunk room was great for the kids - well equipped with TV and internet service to support their gaming habit! My brother-in-law loves to cook, and he felt right at home in the kitchen, which accomodated all of his needs, and as a result we ate like kings all week. I was able to 'break in' the new Weber gas grill, and it was nice to have this on the porch right outside the kitchen area. All four bedrooms were furnished with king size beds, private bathrooms and large wall mount HD TVs! The elevator was handy for bringing up luggage to upper floors. And there was lots of beach supplies available in the garage so I didn't have to haul all that along for the trip! The home was clean and ready to go for us when we arrived. The Destiny by the Sea gated community is a fine property, and everything was as expected and as outlined in the listing materials from VRBO. I really appreciated being able to contact the owner directly. He was very accomodating of my many questions via phone and e-mail, and went above and beyond expectations to meet our needs and to insure our family vacation was a positively memorable experience. The hardest part of our vacation was....leaving. As I was locking up the house, I reflected on the fact that I never before felt so much 'at home' in vacation lodging as I did while at Bon Bini, and to a person we all really hated to leave. Everyone talked about how great a house this was, how great our stay was, and that we all looked forward to coming back someday. And we will! I recommend this property without reservation!

  This is a tremendous property that is understated relative to the amenities. This is one of the best properties we have stayed at in Destin. Attention to detail is outstanding. The kitchen is amply stocked for gourmet cooking. I love to cook so this was a perfect match for me. I HIGHLY recommend this property.

  We recently stayed at Bon Bini to celebrate my parents' 50th Wedding Anniversary. The home was perfect for our large family. It slept 15 of us quite comfortably and we could have added a few more people on the sofas! My parents, while in relatively good physical shape, were able to use the elevator rather than conquering the stairs several times a day. There was even a shower with a built-in seat, which was great for my parents. We cooked most of our meals and, to our delight, the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we could have possibly needed (including skewers for barbequing, which I had forgotten to pack). While not directly on the beach, the walk to the beach was very short, and there was a golf cart which we used to transport my parents and other beach items to and from the beach. Everything was in perfect working condition, and the house was absolutely beautiful. We especially enjoyed the large balconies and seating areas on every level of the home. There were even two large barbeque pits on the second level balcony! Beach chairs and other beach items were available, however, we used the beach service to rent chairs/umbrellas. I would definitely recommend staying at Bon Bini and will do so myself next summer. Well maintained, very clean, and the location was perfect (about five minutes to anything you could possibly want - Outlet shopping, restaurants, grocery stores, etc). I must also add that one of the best things this rental experience was the direct communication with the owner during every step of the rental process! Thanks Steve!

  There were 14 of us which included 5 kids under 18 and it worked out very well.The golf cart was a plus as was the elevator. Everything well kept and location is perfect! The lighting of the Christmas tree at Baytown Wharf with fireworks was a highlight of the trip as was the Thanksgiving dinner that benefits Habitat for humanity
