Well appointed with a perfect blend of old world charm and modern amenities, you can be assured that your every need has been considered, allowing you to let go of your worldly cares and enjoy just being for a while.

Each day brings new possibility. There is so much to do here, and yet so little is required of you. Wake with the sun and prepare a leisurely breakfast to be eaten under the wisteria covered pergola. Spend the day reading by the sparkling pool or walking through the countryside. Dine in the evening on the spacious stone patio that overlooks the mountains. If you wish to travel and explore, the Tuscan/Umbrian region offers all the beauty and culture of the Italian countryside. The art of Florence and the architecture or Rome are within easy reach. Take in the museums of Florence, stroll amid the ruins and fountains of Rome and be back at Casa d'Oliva in time for bed. Along the way there are countless opportunities for sight seeing, photography and art and antique hunting.

  • Cooking Utensils Provided: Pots, pans, baking equipment, place settings, flatware, glasses, wine glasses, liqueur glasses for 12. Plastic plates, goblets, glasses for outdoor use. Tablecloths, spices, serving pieces all included.
  • Refrigerator: Small under-counter refrigerator.
  • Catering Available: Caterer available for special meals. Ask at booking.

  • Balcony: Outside the upstairs sitting room. Has a table for 2 and great views!

  • Mountain View: Located in the Appenine mountains in central Italy the house has beautiful views of "waves" of mountains from the pool, balcony, upstairs bedroom, and the terrace.

  • Not Suitable for Children: Due to an open interior staircase, the unfenced pool and our furnishings we usually do not accept children under the age of 12.
  • Smoking Not Allowed: Smoking allowed in all outdoor areas. Please do not litter.
