The Sands Boutique Resort, this 'home away from home' condo is set in beautiful gardens with peaceful views to a National Park lake, the hills beyond and a mere 3 minutes walk to stunning Nai Harn beach in the south of Phuket.
Within easy reach of great local amenities and restaurants, the condo is only 15 minutes from the beach life of Kata where surfers abound, and Karon known as the 'sunbathers' beach. Patong, with its excellent shopping, people watching, beach activities, restaurants and night life offers an escape only 25 minutes from your paradise haven. All this and still a choice of some small secluded beaches within reach of the condo.
The complex pool offers further hours of entertainment should the lure of the nearby beach get a little jaded. An ideal choice for those lucky enough to enjoy the months of retirement abroad as within days the local community of Nai Harn makes you feel like you belong.

We reserved our first 4 nights in Phuket at this condo. We had planned to figure the rest of our trip from there. We wanted to visit some islands etc. We knew that we were visiting during the monsoon season which included rain, and rough seas. We were enjoying the condo and just decided to stay longer. The owner was very accomodating and we were able to contact them thru email and extend our trip! The Sands is a great find! It is a minute walk to the beach. The reception, helped us rent motor bikes and answer questions we had about the area. The security is great! We have friends that live in the area. Our friends helped us set up a massage in our room. When the masseuse arrived, the security guard took her driver's license number down. One security guard named Thom, was great! He took our luggage to our room (which he didn't have to do.) He also helped us bring some water jugs up to the condo. He only spoke Thai, but our friend helped us translate. We had fun showing him pictures of our home! Our friends drove us to a market in Raiwai and we enjoyed our breakfast most days on the porch of our condo. I loved having the kitchenette! Nai Harn is a great area if you want a quiet vacation away from the louder beach areas like Patong or Kata. Our trip ended at the begining of the high season. At the beginning, there was trash on the beach but by the end, the locals were cleaning the beach everyday. The only negative is that there is constuction directly behind The Sands. The condo has thick walls and windows so it didn't wake us up but if you were at the pool, the workers could look in and you heard soem construction noise from there. This is only temporary, so don't let it ruin your trip but I think you should know. The pool is great. It is a deep pool..about 5 feet everywhere so it makes for a great lap pool and stays a comfortable temp. There were lots of rip tides when we visited and the lifeguards were cautioning against swimming at NaiHarn. We would spend a few hours at the beach and go in the water to our waists, then go back to the pool and swim for a few more hours and then back to the beach for sunset! When you are there, I recommend M&M Italian and NaiHarn Seafood for good Thai food. I also recommend driving thru the Royal Phuket Yacht Club to Ao Sane Bungalows. They have a great restaurant and beach area. Great snorkeling on a clear day and just a log walk or short tuk tuk ride. You'll love it!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.
