Crystal Shores West is a premier new building that has many amenities including an indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, exercise room, sauna, pool tables & foosball, BBQ grills, covered parking, and staffed lobby. All this and a convenience store right across the street.
It is perfectly located only 1 mile from the Hangout and Hwy. 59. I can provide additional pictures of the building and its amenities, if you would like.
Do not confuse 'Crystal Shores West' with the older building called 'Crystal Shores'.... or with the Crystal Tower (which is located accross the street from the beach).
When you compare other units in Crystal Shores West please note that mine has custom drapes, upgraded stainless appliances and flooring, tray ceilings in the kitchen and bathroom, crown molding, new neutral area rug, and a fun beachy theme. It is 1,100 square feet of comfort! There are 4 floors of covered parking, and best of all located on the 4th floor, giving quick access to put you right onto the beach, yet high enough for fantastic views.
You will be so pleased with the comfy atmosphere that greets you. I like to update everything so it looks and feels new and fresh! Bed Bath and Beyond is a favorite of mine!
The view is breathtaking, and is visable from the living room, dining area, kitchen and master bedroom!! Just step onto the balcony and look for miles up and down the beautiful white beaches. The guest bedroom has a view of the lagoon on the north side of the building.
Our new condo is a comfortable retreat. The furnishings include a cozy couch, area rug, fun art work, sleek dining room table and chairs, 55 inch flat screen in the livingroom, plasma TVs in the master AND guest bedroom, and custom draperies. Both bedrooms have king beds, each with upgraded bedding that not only looks great but feels great too. Each have a high quality mattress that gives you the great sleep we all want when on vacation.
It is one of the few units with stainless steel appliances (refrigerator has in the door ice/water), and upgraded flooring and window darkening curtains.
We made sure to provide the little niceties we look for when travelling; a well equipped kitchen, beach towels, beach chairs and an umbrella, cleaners, card table and chairs, etc. (all to make packing easier and save you time and money)
It has a great location on the 4th floor, so there is quick and easy access to the beach, pools, and game room.
This complex has a full time management company and security, located on the premises. They are friendly and helpful. And the presence of the security guards is very reassuring.

All as advertised!!! Peg was easy to work with and there lots of extras thrown in. Wonderful information about places to eat and to visit. You will enjoy lots of balcony time where you look out on beautiful blue/green water and a white sand beach, which is easily accessible. Go and enjoy a lovely week in a wonderful condo.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway.

The condo was even nicer than the photos. Very spacious with a great sized balcony and amazing view. Perfectly fixed right on the beach. The owner was awesome. She kept the booking process simple and stayed in close contact with me for anything I needed. She offered an extensive list of things to do in Gulf Shores, which we took full advantage of with much success. We absolutely loved our stay and will for sure book this condo again in the future!Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+.

We have been to the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area many times. This was our first time at Crystal Shores West. It is in a very good location. The building is very nice. We were there on spring break and the security was EXCELLENT and very friendly. As for the condo...it was PERFECT! One of the nicest and cleanest we have ever stayed in. The decor is beautiful and the condo is very spacious. The bathrooms are a great size and the kitchen is fabulous. We can't say enough good things about it. We will definitely be back again. Peg was so easy to work with and got back with us immediately. Thanks again for a great vacation!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, people with disabilities, girls getaway.

Choosing a condo from 600 miles away was a bit overwhelming for us. We were not familiar with the area and had no idea what to expect. After a ton of research, we decided to stay at Peg’s. After talking with her, we were much more at ease. Upon arrival, we found the unit to be everything that we expected. The Gulf view from the balcony was perfect. The sunrises and sunsets were amazing. We saw several dolphins from the balcony. Thanks for a pleasant vacation.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, girls getaway.

The condo was just as represented on their VRBO advertisement. It was beautifully decorated and very comforable! There is balcony access from the master bedroom and living area. The view was breathtaking! We've been to Gulf Shores several times this year, but this trip, the water was clear and very smooth. Walking on the white sandy beaches was just what the doctor ordered. We shared this trip with friends who had never been to Gulf Shores; we all agree that we would go back to this condo. The owner was awesome to work with. She and her family had actually been there just before us. The first evening we had delicious snacks that they left for us.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

This is one of numerous trips to Gulf Shores and by far, this condo was the best place we have stayed at. Peg, the owner, was awesome to work with and even called on Monday to check on us and to see if we needed anything. The complex in general was awesome, to the pool, the workout facility, parking, and location. If your trying to decide on a condo at GS, this is the one. My family and I will definitely be back next year. Thanks again Peg for making our vacation a special one this summer.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

Our trip to Gulf Shores was awesome. The condo was exactly as described. It was very clean and well taken care of. While it was too hot to open the doors during our stay, it is surely refreshing to listen to the waves hit the shore all day long. One of the best compliments I have about the condo is the bed! I haven't slept better for as long as I can remember. We have already discussed replacing our current sleep number bed with something like the bed at the condo. We took full advantage of the fully equipped kitchen to make breakfast and lunch each day. Everything we needed was there. It was especially nice to have a dishwasher and not have to wash by hand. We were also able to do laundry every day which kept towels clean to start the day.....and....we came home with all clean clothes! Thank you Peg for sharing your beautiful condo with our family. We hope to return sometime in the future!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

Really enjoyed our stay. Family of 5, but the condo accomodated us with no problem. Great beach. Only downside were the slow elevators. Highly recommend this property.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+.

The condo was as advertised with no surprises. It is a nice property and located close to major attractions and restaurants. I would definitely recommend this place to friends. Excellent place to stay, it's as wonderful as the pictures show it to be. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes etc for those who like to eat in. It was our first visit to Gulf Shores and we found the condo's location very handy for all the attractions etc. Some condo's we"ve stayed at in the past have parking issues but we found ample parking here. We will for sure, keep this place in mind if we return to Gulf Shores in the future.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+.

About the owner: I enjoyed helping people during my 27 years as a certified financial planner. After retiring 2 years ago, I found myself missing my relationships with my clients. I decided I wanted to fulfill a lifelong dream of buying a condo on the beautiful beaches of Gulf Shores and go back to work. I've been regularly coming to Gulf Shores over the past 20 years, as my sister lives in Mobile. I purchased my beautiful 'Home Away from Home' and started my business of condo rentals. I've been able to put my years of serving the public to good use in yet a different way. My guests have been wonderful, and I strive to help them by providing a very cost efficient way to stay in luxury accommodations. Since I've spent so much time in the area, I am able to provide many tips that only the locals know about. Why the Owner Chose Crystal Shores West:
I looked diligently for over a year, spending hours and hours with my realtor, until he finally found exactly what I was looking for. The location is perfect, the beaches are gorgeous, I needed to be able to see the Gulf from the kitchen sink, large spacious rooms, crown mouldings with no popcorn ceilings, a knock out view from the huge balcony and top notch ammenities. I drove him crazy, but in the end, it's perfection!!! I LOVE my condo and know you will too!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
It is perfectly located just one mile from the fun activities of the intersection at Highway 59. But if you want to bypass this area you can take the shortcut directly to further north on Hwy. 59. I particularly love that this is one of the newest and nicest buildings on the Alabama coast. It has wonderful amenities, not the least of which is the fabulous staff that is present all day to assist you with any needs. I also like how quickly I can be on the beach with my lower level unit. It is a wonderful, plush “home away from home” that is available at very competitive prices.
