Le Bouex is a tiny hamlet in rural France. Time stands still - it is like England in the 1950s - hardly any traffic, a simpler lifestyle, a slower pace of life. You can relax in the grounds, use the splash pool, wander down to the river Gartempe, explore pretty local villages, sit in the cafes in the village squares and watch the locals playing petanque (boules), enjoy the local sporting activities, explore the countryside or adventure out to the bigger towns and family attractions in the area.
The farmhouse has all the traditional features you'd expect of France - large lofty bedrooms, an elegant salon, a huge kitchen, flagstone floors, wood-burner stoves, shutters. It has been completely refurbished to a high standard.
Come in summer to bask in the sun or retreat to the cool farmhouse interior...or come in winter and stoke up the wood-burners! Also has full central heating.
