Absolutely loved this unit! We stay on this property every year and have finally found the unit we'll keep coming back to. It looks exactly like the pictures shown and is clean and insect free as well! Both beds come with temper-pedic mattress toppers that are wonderful!! Yes, they have all the goodies you will need plus more than they show in the pics. We have no complaints and want to send many Mahalo's to Brian for such an easy breezy reservation process and sharing a little piece of paradise with us!

Recommended for:Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, age 55+, girls getaway.

This was our third rental experience with one of Brian's properties (first one in this particular unit). Once again, it did not disappoint. Everything you could possibly need or want is supplied for you, right down to good books that previous renters have left behind. The condo is exactly as shown in the photos. Once again, we made very good use of the generous beach supplies (boogie boards, coolers, snorkel equipment etc.), as well as the washer and dryer. It truly is home away from home. We would definitely recommend doing the drive to Hana and make sure to save ample time to go into the Garden of Eden (it's on that road). There is a cost to get in, but it's worth it. We've never seen such magnificent greenery! There are picnic tables there, so pack a lunch beforehand. There really is nothing quite like sitting at a table among the birds, taking in all of nature's colors, with that deep blue ocean as a backdrop. Breathtaking! There is so much to see and do in Maui that it's hard to narrow it down. Your best best: read all the in-condo books about Maui and watch Channel 7 on the TV for great island info. We're not gourmet food lovers, so we prefer to go to the more casual restaurants with our kids, aged 18 and 12. There's something for everybody, that's for sure. This trip, we took an excursion on the Ali'i Nui, a magnificent 65' catamaran. Now, THAT was deluxe!! We snorkeled at Molokini (a must!) and enjoyed a delicious lunch and cocktail on board. That was probably the most beautiful sailing boat we've ever been on and the crew were topnotch. We also took a trip over to the island of Lana'i on the Trilogy (out of Lahaina). Not as "first-class" as the Ali'i Nui, but still great and a lot of fun. Wonderful to see another island and learn all about it (you get to go on an hour-long air-conditioned bus ride with a native, who can tell you EVERYTHING about it). We also tried SNUBA for the first time while we were there -- cross between snorkel & scuba. It was $65/person and you got all the training beforehand. Trilogy has exclusive rental rights to the only beach area on Lanai and they cook up a hot lunch for you before you head back on the boat. It was a full day, very fun and highly recommended. All in all, you won't be disappointed if you book your trip to Maui and stay here in this lovely Maui Kamaole unit. We'll be back!

We all thought the decor, cleanliness and location of the condo was perfect. The extra's were appreciated like coolers, snorkle gear and beach chairs. We compared your condo to others and really felt lucky since our friends had difficulties with the renting process. We all loved the upper pool and hot tub and enjoyed how quiet and restful the property is. We wil definitely stay again when we are able. Thank you for being so easy to rent with.

Thank-you to the Shacklefords for the rental of your great condo. We had a wonderful vacation in Maui and really enjoyed all of the amenities your condo provided. The furnishings were lovely and of quality. We appreciated all of the beach equipment, especially the beach chairs, umbrellas and the snorkel gear. (Great snorkeling at Ulua beach.) We didn't need to buy or rent a thing. Our BBQ dinner by the pool was a highlight as we met a family and became fast friends, and also met Brian who dropped by to say hi (and who we also called upon not once but twice when we locked ourselves out!!) We look forward to coming back again soon and would definitely rent this uint again. Mahalo!!

We just returned from our stay at Shackelford's beautiful condo. It far exceeded our expectations in cleaniness, appointments, and amenities. Some of Maui's most beautiful beaches are within easy walking distace. You will find everything you need inside the condo to enjoy those beaches too! The condo has been carefully updated including comfortable king beds and linens. We will definitely be return visitors.

We have stayed in several different condos on Maui and we really enjoyed staying at yours especially because you had so many 'extras'. We did not have to rent chairs, boogie boards, snorkel gear,etc because you had them available in your condo. That was really nice. It was also great that you had coolers, toys and others things that we could use. Thank you so much for the extra touches.

We just returned last week from our stay at the Shakelford's condo and we can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. The condo is beautiful with nice/new furniture with all the extras. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice and well equipped the condo was. We can't say thanks enough. The location is awesome, right in Kihei but also very close to Wailea. We have zero complaints and would most definately return. It made our family vacation that much better! Thanks!

We just returned from a wonderful stay at Brian and Michelle's condo. This is the second property of theirs that we have seen (the other is the 1 br/2ba), and both are wonderfully furnished, well stocked, very clean and in good repair. We would definitely return to any one of their properties. Thanks for a great condo at a fair price in a convenient location!
