We recently (May 2010) remodeled our condo with all new upgraded tumbled travertine-style flooring and tropical faux painting. Why stay in a resort hotel like the Four Season or the Grand Wailea when you can save 2/3 of the cost and not have to purchase every meal in a resort hotel? You’ll have a full kitchen and BBQ to save on meal costs and still enjoy the same view with 3 times the space and privacy. You won't find a better rate in all of Maui for a condo in this location and this size. You won't be disappointed!
When you walk into this condo, we know that you will fall in love with it, just like we did! This ground floor easy access one bedroom, two bath condominium offers breathtaking panoramic ocean views, with all the amenities of home. In fact, this could be your home-away-from-home. The condo has 1022 square feet of living space, and has recently been remodeled including granite and tumbled travertine-style flooring through out the entry way, kitchen, living/dining room and bathrooms.
The kitchen has everything you’ll need to prepare a yummy breakfast, pupu’s for sharing, or a full romantic dinner. The bedroom has a king size bed, and there’s a queen size convertible sofa in the living room to accommodate an additional two guests.
Spend your mornings sipping coffee on the lanai and watching the sky light up at sunrise. In the evening, raise your glass as you hear the neighborhood conch blowers pay homage to the perfect sunset. December through April will boast some of the most amazing whale-watching in the entire state all viewable from your private lanai.
Imagine yourself strolling along the beach at sunrise or sunset, hand in hand along the Wailea Beach Walk – a 2 mile stretch of beachfront promenade that passes the Wailea Marriott, the Grand Wailea the Four Seasons, and Fairmont Kea Lani Hotels. Or maybe you’d prefer to relax on the beach, build sand castles, or snorkel along the waters of the famed Ulua Beach. All are within walking distance from your condo.
If you’d prefer to stay inside, you’ll be wowed by the 50” HD Plasma TV with 5.1 Surround Sound and a complete media center, including CD, DVD, VHS and HD programming and music. There is also a computer with free high speed internet access, in case you want to check in with the outside world!

Why the Owner Chose Wailea Ekolu
We got Maui'd in November 2002 and ever since we have been bitten by the Aloha Spirit of Maui and especially Wailea. It is by far the best part of Maui with it's manicured lawns and golf courses and great walking path in front of all the resort hotels.
Wailea Ekolu Village is a privately owned 148 unit residential-resort condominium Association. Ekolu residents enjoy exclusive use of our two swimming pools, barbeque grills and a recreation pavilion with a complete kitchen and covered open-air lounge. Information on island activities and a stocked library for your reading pleasure is available in the Pavilion adjacent to the Office. Our manager resides on the property and his office and services are the exclusive benefit of the owners and their guest.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Location, location, location....need I say more. We have the most spectacular view of the ocean. During whale watching season you can actual see whales breaching and playing in the channel. With our daily morning walks along the 2 mile path and the close proximity to some of the Maui's finest restaurants who would want to be anywhere else.
Excellent swimming and snorkeling. Water sports equipment rentals are available at concessions in front of the former Renaissance Wailea Beach Resort. We got married here, love the view!
Another local favorite with excellent swimming, snorkeling, and beachcombing. Early morning and sunset walkers and joggers abound on the 2 mile Wailea walking path.
Excellent swimming with restrooms and equipment rentals. Along with most other Wailea beaches, the venue for a paved beachwalk meandering past Grand Wailea and Four Season Resort Hotels. Wailea Beach, a short but wide expanse with excellent swimming, was once very secluded, and now showcases the Grand Wailea Resort.
Popular with Maui residents and visitors. Excellent swimming and snorkeling, picnic tables and restrooms are available. Named "America's Best Beach" in 1999.
This beach, adjacent to the Maui Prince Hotel, offers excellent swimming and snorkeling. Keep your eyes peeled for the green sea turtles which are abundant here.
Official named Makena Beach, this lovely sandy beach is almost 2/3 of a mile long and over 100 yards wide. It is often referred to as THE beach on Maui. Often crowded on weekends, there is a second section of the beach connected by a path on the right. This smaller beach area is referred to as "Little Beach". The division between Big Beach and Little Beach was caused by a lava flow and earthquake in 1790. The hill dividing the beaches is called Pu'u Ola'i or Earthquake Hill.
Little Beach on Maui, Hawaii ranks among the most beautiful nude beaches in the world. Also known as, Little Makena Beach, it snuggles against the western base of Pu'u Olai, a 360 foot high cinder cone which can be seen for miles along the leeward coast. The beach is a belt of fine amber sand, only 430 feet long. It is buttressed at each end by lava rocks.
We eat there every time we visit Maui and have never been disappointed. We stick with the fresh fish catch (by Johnny) of day, and I really like the way they prepare their lamb. We love Johnny & Christine Arabatzis the owners!

Carolyn and I live a very busy life in Southern California which a lot of people would consider paradise or at least a very nice place to live. We absolutely LOVE going to Maui a few times a year just to re-charge and enjoy our Maui sunsets.

7-12-09 Dear Tim and Carolyn, Our two weeks in Maui were amazing, and to always come home to the comfort of your condominium was truly the best thing about our trip. We snorkeled, we saw shows, we ate out, we shopped, we even went to Haleakala and about burst our ear drums, but after each adventure, your home was waiting for us to relax and unwind after each day. Watching the masses in the big hotels below made me realize we made the right decision, and after driving up the coast, realized that Wailea was extremely special. After talking to many people who took long flights here we feel almost guilty telling them Portland is a non-stop 5 ½ hr. flight. But even with a long flight Maui is worth the time and I know others feel that too. We're always vacationed in a family home in Manzanillo Mexico, but now we are having a difficult time deciding where to spend our next vacation/holiday. Thank you again. I'm glad I found your web site! Mahalo!

The condo exceeded my husband's expectations. The views were beautiful, and the rental unit itself was very comfortable. It was a nice size, well furnished and maintained, and stocked for just about every thing we could think of needing. The location was very convenient. We could walk many places, beaches were close by, and the pool was fun to have also. We would definitely recommend it to others.

We had a fabulous time at the condo- it was truly our home away from home during our time in Maui. We stayed for 10 days while my brother got married at the Grand Wailea. The condo was a short walk to the Wailea and other shops and restaurants. We enjoyed everything the condo had to offer during our time on Maui and did not want to leave! It is a perfect place to stay! We would absolutely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at the condo in December 2009. The views really are beautiful, the lanai is dreamy, the pool is close, the kitchen is well stocked. We were really impressed with how clean and well decorated the place was. Loved the shower. We had an awesome time at Big Beach and Wailea Beach, nearby. Would absolutely recommend staying here.

Tim and Carolyn - we had an absolutely fabulous vacation in Maui! Your condo exceeded our expectations - you have created a lovely, romantic getaway that has every amenity. We enjoyed our evening wine watching the sunset on the lanai. Preparing meals in the kitchen was just as pleasant with the view. And having the PC was a really nice touch. Loved the spa at Grand Wailea, and favorite restaurants were Capische for dinner and Jawz tacos for lunch. Van and I will definitely be back!

"Great condo! It's spacious, clean and nicely decorated. It has a spectacular view of the ocean and nearby islands from the Lanai and every room in the condo. It's well-equipped with everything needed for a great vacation. The Ekolu complex is quiet and the grounds are immaculately landscaped with palm trees, plants and flowers. Some of the most beautiful beaches in the world are nearby in Wailea and Makena. Everything was perfect. I hope I can stay in this condo again next year."
