Soleil Pines is a family-owned property nestled in northern Minnesota. Hidden on 20 secluded acres just 10 miles north of the historic, Lake Superior harbor town of Duluth, Minnesota, Soleil Pines is the perfect retreat for families, friends, couples or executive retreats. It offers five-star accommodations with an abundance of activities and relaxation for all seasons.
The main lodge is a unique, hand-built log home, featuring a lofted master bedroom and private bathroom suite with spa tub. There are two bedrooms on the lower level with a separate bathroom and shower. The main lodge also features a full, gourmet kitchen, upper and lower level family rooms, a formal dining area, wood-burning fireplace and outdoor decks off the main-level family room and master bedroom suite. There is also an outdoor spa tub outside of the main house and Finnish wood-fired sauna, with seating for up to 6 people in a separate structure. The sauna is located on the top of a small hill, which is perfect for sledding in the winter months.
The "Hurry Back Tavern and Bunkhouse," a separate building on the property, features a bar with stools and booths, Big Buckhunter II, Ms. Pacman, pinball and darts, a flat-screen HDTV with DirecTV and and Sony Playstation 3 with Rock Band and Kareoke. The bunkhouse on the upper level sleeps 4 in twin beds.
A second log structure, known as “The Hut” is hidden next to a natural stream, just a short walk from the main lodge. This one-room cabin sleeps 2 in a loft above a sitting area and features a wood burning stove, porch and outdoor fire pit.
There is plenty of space for lawn games and outdoor activities, plus quiet places for reading, bird-watching, nature hikes, napping or doing nothing at all. Other features on the property include an outdoor spa, fire pit and horseshoe-tossing pits. |
