Situated in a little cove in the woods, you can relax on the large front porch and watch the abundant wildlife around you or swing in the hammock in the front yard while listening to the babbling brook near by. Wild turkeys, raccoons, owls, rabbits, foxes, coyotes, and even an occasional catamount and black bear have all been seen here! Newly renovated, this romantic little A-Frame cabin has new log siding and railing, knotty cedar paneling, rustic pine flooring, and all new furniture and appliances. The cabin has a queen-sized bed in the downstairs bedroom and a second queen bed in the loft bedroom. A fully equipped kitchen and separate laundry room have everything you will need for your stay. There are several hiking trails, creeks and streams near by. Conveniently located only 10 minutes from historic Dillsboro and 15 minutes from the town of Sylva and Western Carolina University.

  • My husband and I...and my sister and her husband...recently spent a week in this lovely cabin. The owners have thought of everything and have provided everything that could possibly be included to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. To begin with, they have "re-built" the cabin to their own perfectionist standards...lining the walls with cedar, and adding all of the amenities that one could hope for...or expect. All of the furnishings were tasteful, attractive, and comfortable. Their decorating skills far exceed mine (for what that's worth). The deck is spacious and encourages outdoor use...a must in the fall foliage month because the setting of fir and a variety of deciduous trees makes for a gorgeous view. In addition, the owners are readily available for any problem that might arise. The cabin provides perfect privacy for those who care...while being close enough to services to make them available to those who need them. The nearby quaint town of Dillsboro showcases the arts and crafts of those living in the area and provides the availability of the not-to-be-missed Dillsboro Smokehouse...an inexpensive restaurant that makes and sells the absolutely best ribs I've ever tasted!
