Terrific overall experience. Great location on the side of a mountain, beautiful deck, very good outdoor grill, 12 min drive to Sylva, very clean. It exceeded our expectations & the owners are very easy to work with. Eat at Kosta's in Sylva at least once. Would definitely go back. We fished 6 different rivers during the 7 days we were there.

A week of relaxation was what we were looking for and it is exactly what we had. The WEB site description of the property was spot on. Maybe the cabin is a little larger than the photos suggest. The cabin was clean, well equipped, and fun. If you find that the web's description is what you are looking for then you have found it. Also, the owners were very pleasant, efficient, and helpful. My family just stayed at Little Cove. It was such a cozy and comfortable place to call home for our week in the mountains. My boys loved sleeping up in the loft each night. Kim did a wonderful job of making sure the cabin was clean and inviting. She was very helpful even during the week we were at the cabin, answering questions that I had and letting us know of work being done on the dirt road. We actually ended up needed their help the morning of our departure when we realized that we had left the lights on in our van overnight. We were very happy all the way around!

My wife, baby, small dog and I spent some time at the Little Cove Cabin in May. We loved the privacy and solitude. The only thing we could hear sitting on the deck was the creek at the edge of the property. The cabin was beautiful and had everything we needed. Our 8 month old loved swinging on the hammock with mommy. We felt like we were in the middle of nowhere yet in 15 minutes we were in Sylva for a dinner out (We recommend Lulu's on Main). The owners are readily available if needed, we had the pleasure of meeting them. We highly recommend the Little Cove Cabin and can't wait to come back.

My stay at Little Cove Cabin was very special. I was able to make many day trips from this private starting point; however, it was sooooo……. relaxing to spend some days just hanging out at the cabin, which is Josh and Kimberly’s “little piece of heaven.” I had everything I needed and then some. The cabin was cute, comfortable and very clean. The property was up to date and well maintained. It is beautiful on top of their mountain. My time was wonderful and Josh and Kimberly went out of their way to make everything perfect. I do hope to return. Perhaps the next time I come I will make it a "girls getaway" weekend or I might bring my parents for a week. Patricia, Louisville, KY

My husband and I...and my sister and her husband...recently spent a week in this lovely cabin. The owners have thought of everything and have provided everything that could possibly be included to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. To begin with, they have "re-built" the cabin to their own perfectionist standards...lining the walls with cedar, and adding all of the amenities that one could hope for...or expect. All of the furnishings were tasteful, attractive, and comfortable. Their decorating skills far exceed mine (for what that's worth). The deck is spacious and encourages outdoor use...a must in the fall foliage month because the setting of fir and a variety of deciduous trees makes for a gorgeous view. In addition, the owners are readily available for any problem that might arise. The cabin provides perfect privacy for those who care...while being close enough to services to make them available to those who need them. The nearby quaint town of Dillsboro showcases the arts and crafts of those living in the area and provides the availability of the not-to-be-missed Dillsboro Smokehouse...an inexpensive restaurant that makes and sells the absolutely best ribs I've ever tasted!

We had a great Christmas using Little Cove Cabin as our base. Josh and Kimberly were so helpful and efficient that we felt very well cared for. Everything was so clean and nice, we almost dread going home.
