Our spectacular beach house is 'On The Sand,' offering its own private beach while providing white water views and soothing ocean sounds (you hear the surf in every room). It has a bright beachy decor and a quiet location - conveniently located halfway between the Village in Carlsbad and the Pier in Oceanside (we walk on the sand to both).
This completely renovated home is fully furnished (we relax here frequently) and offers sweeping ocean views from La Jolla to Catalina. You can watch the dolphins play or the whales spout from the living room, deck, or beach.
At night, visit one of the area's fine restaurants or simply dine on the beach while watching the beautiful sun set over the Pacific. During the day, relax on the beach or enjoy the numerous activities that are unique to this fabulous destination.
DETAILS
Unit A (Sleeps 1 to 6): Has 2 bedrooms & 1 bathroom and has a California king size bed in each of the bedrooms and a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room.
Unit B (Sleeps 1 to 6): Has 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms and has a California king size bed in the master bedroom, a full size on the bottom and twin on top (bunk bed) in the guest bedroom, and a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room.
Unit C (Sleeps 1 to 4): Has 1 bedroom & 1 bathroom and has a queen size bed in the bedroom, a twin size bed in a 'galleyway,' and a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room.
Our beach house is 'well cared for' since we personally (as well as our family) stay in all 3 units, and we do have wireless broadband internet access. Over the years, we have had 100s of delighted beach loving guests.

We loved the location of this beach house, more in the oceanside area. Good neighborhood. Around the block from a surf rental shop. So you can rent all your needs within walking distance. Our own beach was awesome. Surf was great! Not crowded. House we rented was the top rental with great views. This is a tri-plex. 2 bedroom with sofa pull out, was tastefully decorated with seaside cottage vibe (very cute). It has all your needs inside. Close to shopping and places to eat. It was a great vacation rental.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location and view was exactly what we were looking for. We enjoyed sitting outside on the deck and watching the dolphins traveling up and down the coastline. - Not to mention the beautiful sunsets! The units were clean and well stocked. It was great to have the private beach and we loved falling a sleep to the sound of the ocean waves!! Hope to be back soon.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, age 55+.

We were so happy that we rented this property for a week on the beach. We enjoyed our balcony overhanging the beach listening to the Pacific rollers come in 24 hours per day. It was very nice and private. We had stayed in the area many times before, but never right on the beach. It was great to be able to walk down and stroll right out on to the beach. You can walk towards the pier in Oceanside and also the other direction towards Carlsbad. Parking was easy on the street right in front of the property. An excellent place to stay and enjoy all the great San Diego attractions and restaurants. We definitely plan to come back.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+.

Why the Owner Chose Other Carlsbad Properties:
We had long desired to have a beachfront home and when we found this gem we were thrilled. We selected this area because it is right in the middle of a beautiful wide sandy beach that stretches for 3 miles from the village of Carlsbad to the pier in Oceanside. We also liked the fact that the house was located in a less dense area with mostly beach homes.
Most of all we were excited by the private beach and the fact that we didn’t have to cross a street or get in a car to enjoy the ocean!
