Our spectacular beach house is "On The Sand," offering its own private beach while providing white water views and soothing ocean sounds (you hear the surf in every room). It has a bright beachy decor and a quiet location - conveniently located halfway between the Village in Carlsbad and the Pier in Oceanside (we walk on the sand to both).
This completely renovated home is fully furnished (we relax here frequently) and offers sweeping ocean views from La Jolla to Catalina. You can watch the dolphins play or the whales spout from the living room, deck, or beach.
At night, visit one of the area's fine restaurants or simply dine on the beach while watching the beautiful sun set over the Pacific. During the day, relax on the beach or enjoy the numerous activities that are unique to this fabulous destination.
DETAILS
Unit A (Sleeps 1 to 6): Has 2 bedrooms & 1 bathroom and has a California king size bed in each of the bedrooms and a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room.
Unit B (Sleeps 1 to 6): Has 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms and has a California king size bed in the master bedroom, a full size on the bottom and twin on top (bunk bed) in the guest bedroom, and a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room.
Unit C (Sleeps 1 to 4): Has 1 bedroom & 1 bathroom and has a queen size bed in the bedroom, a twin size bed in a "galleyway," and a queen size sofa sleeper in the living room.
Our beach house is "well cared for" since we personally (as well as our family) stay in all 3 units, and we do have wireless broadband internet access. Over the years, we have had 100s of delighted beach loving guests.

Why the Owner Chose Other Carlsbad Properties
We had long desired to have a beachfront home and when we found this gem we were thrilled. We selected this area because it is right in the middle of a beautiful wide sandy beach that stretches for 3 miles from the village of Carlsbad to the pier in Oceanside. We also liked the fact that the house was located in a less dense area with mostly beach homes.
Most of all we were excited by the private beach and the fact that we didn’t have to cross a street or get in a car to enjoy the ocean!

We were so happy that we rented this property for a week on the beach. We enjoyed our balcony overhanging the beach listening to the Pacific rollers come in 24 hours per day. It was very nice and private. We had stayed in the area many times before, but never right on the beach. It was great to be able to walk down and stroll right out on to the beach. You can walk towards the pier in Oceanside and also the other direction towards Carlsbad. Parking was easy on the street right in front of the property. An excellent place to stay and enjoy all the great San Diego attractions and restaurants. We definitely plan to come back.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

We loved the location of this beach house, more in oceanside area. Good neighborhood. Around the block from a surf rental shop. So you can rent all your needs within walking distance. Our own beach was awesome. Surf was great! Not crowded. House we rented was the top rental with great veiws. This is a tri-plex. 2 bedroom with sofa pull out, was tastefully decorated with seaside cottage vibe(very cute). It has all your needs inside. Close to shopping and places to eat. It was a great vacation rental.

We had such a great trip! The boys did NOT want to leave. The condo was perfect. The view was amazing and how great to be steps from the beach. The boys loved the sand area and so appreciated the beach toys and especially the boogie boards! It's hard to get back to real life after a relaxing vacation!

This condo was on the bottom floor but had a great view from the windows. The beach, the kids toys and sand in the yard were great. We loved watching the surfers everyday. Everything was in working order, clean and nice. I was disappointed to have to pay for the use of the laundry machine and to have to haul the trash 2 miles down the road in my car when we left.
Owner response:The 1 bedroom 1 bath unit is about 7 steps up from the Private Beach in the first picture. There are trash cans on the side of the garage for guests to dispose of their trash. We have a laundry facility for the property and unfortunately as some were abusing the privilege and we are environmentally conscious you have to use a few quarters (it limits the 1 swimsuit wash loads). The value of what you get with this oceanfront property is well worth it as evidenced by our over 50 repeat guests.
