Beautiful, four bedroom, 4 and a half bath house located on prestigious Pirates Beach. With two master bedrooms and two bedrooms with built-in bunk beds this unique beach house easily accommodates two families, large families or couples vacationing together! This house has so much room with over 2700+ sq feet. Access to Galveston Country Club with golf course, swimming pools and restaurant.
Located on a quiet cul-de-sac one blocks from the beach, it's an ideal getaway beach house with spectacular Gulf views. This vacation house is bright and colorfully decorated featuring wood floors and granite countertops in the large kitchen and bathrooms. A reverse floor plan makes this house functional and perfect for entertaining: the living, dining and kitchen areas are all on the top level (Level C) where you will find a spacious open floor plan, two seating areas with fireplace, oversize kitchen, wetbar and dining area.
All four bedrooms are located on the middle level (Level B). Both masters suites have king bed, access to private deck, cable TV with dvd player, larger walk-in closet and private bathroom. The two bunk rooms contains two built in bunks. On one side of the room are built in full bunks (which are comfortable for two adults) and twin built in bunks are located on the other side of room. Each bunk bedroom has its own private bathroom and its own cable television/DVD. Full size washer and dryer are located on this floor.
When you are ready to relax, step out onto one of three large decks and hear the waves crashing. Everyone will enjoy the top deck with its stunning wraparound views. It’s a wonderful place to see the sun rise in the morning and stargaze at night. Outdoor dining and living is easy on the Level C deck – there’s comfortable outdoor furniture for lounging and a dining table for al fresco meals.
Other amenities include the ground floor with a convenient freezer, BBQ Grill, and additonal outdoor tables and chairs. If you need to stay connected while at the beach, there’s wireless internet access and unlimited long distance within the continental U.S. Best of all, when you are ready to get some sand between your toes, the beach is a short walk away!
Rental Policy: Pirates Beach maintains an extremely quiet family atmosphere for the peaceful enjoyment of our neighbors and guests. Therefore, we will rent only to families or family groups. If you are not with a family group, you must be a responsible adult over the age of 30 to make a reservation. The maximum number of guests is sixteen. Pets of any kind and smoking are not permitted. Adults cannot rent properties on behalf of underage guests. Guests must comply with these Rental Policies and all subdivision restrictions.

Highly recommended!! This beach house is very well-designed to allow for maximum family time while providing enough bedrooms and deck space to allow one to have some "alone time". It is very well maintained and the kitchen is stocked with a wide assortment of pots/pans, cooking utensils, serving dishes, dishes and glassware. The ice maker was especially handy for drinks and icing down a small cooler before going to the beach. The location is prime with a view of the surf from the deck and yet set back in a cul-de-sac so that street traffic was at a minimum. We will definitely be checking it's availability the next time we have a large group gathering planned. We had 9 adults, 5 children and an infant with room to spare. The rooms with double bunks (two full size beds, two twins) are perfect for a family unit. Each bedroom has it's own full bathroom and there is a half bath on the main living floor. All linens were provided and were in good condition and the washer/dryer was a godsend to wash our beach towels clean between visits to the beach. As advertised, Pirates Beach is well-maintained and separate from the crowds at the seawall or east beaches. The beach was not crowded even though it was Labor Day weekend. For three years now, I have brought a small group of folks to this beach house to retreat. The set up, the sleeping arrangements, the location near the beach (3 min. walk), the height of the top deck (highest in the neighborhood as far as I can tell), the spacous kitchen, the peacefulness...it works out perfectly for us each year. The group I bring loves the place and always looks forward to our time there. I recommend booking the beach house and working with the owner without reservation.

Three families rented this house together and we had a great time. This is top of the line. The owners obviously care very much about their home. Everything was in perfect working order and spotlessly clean. As the other reviews have pointed out, it is very spacious and the sleeping arrangements for a crowd - each bedroom/bunk room has its own bath - is fantastic! My 6' 2" husband and I were in a bunk room and were very comfortable. The place is even better than the pictures. I highly recommend this house and would love to go back sometime soon!

We stayed at this cabin twice during the spring and summer of 2009. The cabin is very nicely appointed and very comfortable. For our spring stay, we rented the cabin with another family. The accommodations were perfect with each of the adult couples having their own master bedroom with attached full bath. The other two bedrooms were used by the teenagers; one for the boys and one for the girls. Each of these rooms also had its own attached full bath – very convenient. The living area and kitchen are spacious and we never felt crowded. The bedrooms are on the second level and the living area is on the third level. Both levels have covered porches. The porch off the living area has comfortable furniture complete with a dining table. Several meals were enjoyed on this deck. There is a sun deck on the top level which offers a nice view of the area. The cabin is also equipped with a washer and dryer which came in handy keeping up with the towels. The kitchen is fully equipped. The only appliance we brought was an electric griddle for the loads of pancakes cooked up by the kids. We enjoyed our spring stay so much we decided to return for a summer vacation. We had a great time once again. The beach was beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our time playing in the water and building sandcastles. All in all this is a very nice cabin and everyone who visited really enjoyed the cabin and the time spent at the beach. We hope to return in the future.
