A private residence on Lake McDonald inside Glacier National Park. Enjoy the comfort and privacy of your own cabin with a stunning view of Lake McDonald and the mountains surrounding Going-to-the-Sun Road. Soak your feet in the lake or walk into Apgar village and enjoy all that the park has to offer. Only minutes from spectacular hiking, world-class golf resorts and wild and scenic rivers. One of the 2003 renters left the following note, "Everything was fantastic: the cabin was spotless, all the utensils, linens, books, etc., etc., were more than enough. Suggestions for improvement...don't change a thing. With that view, a tent and a bucket of water would do just fine!"
This lovely cedar cabin has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen size bed, one with two twins that can be converted to a king and a fold-out futon in the living room. The hard wood floors, woven rugs, fireplace and cedar furniture complete this cozy retreat. A covered deck extends across the front of the cabin - the perfect place to enjoy the view. The cabin is fully furnished to provide you a comfortable and relaxing vacation.

$295/night (three night minimum) .. $1770/week
Transportation and park entrance fees are not included.
Reservations must be secured with a 50% deposit.
Balance is due 30 days prior to arrival.
Full refunds if canceled at least 45 days prior to arrival.
After 45 days the deposit will be forfeited.
Maximum 6 people.

Honeymoon in Glacier

Our visit was at end of September, beginning of October of 2008. We were lucky with high 70 degree weather. This cabin is a gem. The owners are part of the original family, great people that you can trust. Their place is beautiful, very comfortable, very clean, well furnished and located in probably the finest spot on Earth, and worth every penny. This is an amazing location. Quiet, remote and charming. A glorious place to explore this spectacular park. Oh, and grab yourself a Moose Drool and put your feet up. Get up early and watch the sunrise illuminate those Rockies directly out the front window and stay up late and check out your shadow from the starlight. Enjoy!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+.

We have stayed at this cabin a number of times. Location is outstanding. If you don't want to use the kitchen for meals, easy walk to Eddie's. Views are outstanding and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the park. That is if I have too! As other reviewer stated, I really hate to get the word out about this gem. Look forward to returning many more times. Always clean, plenty of towels, dishes ,etc. and everyday kitchen needs (salt, pepper and that type of thing). Just writing this review makes me want to be there.

This is one of our favorite places to spend our vacation. The cabin is much better than the pictures and the view is incomparable. This place is a bargain and you will never want to leave! I even hesitated to write this review because we'd like to keep it all to ourselves. We cannot wait to return!
