I have the fun job of managing these two lovely cabins on the Provo River! I own a property management company in Orem and specialize in BYU student housing. At any given time, we have approx 1000 single students under our care! Our saving grace during the summer months is "escaping" to the Provo River where we keep our RV in the area adjacent to the cabins! We come up on Fridays after work and stay til Sat night. Not long, but long enough to take in the fresh air & beautiful scenery!
Why the Owner Chose Provo
Perfect location for families/parents bringing kids to BYU sports camps & EFY! Many others come for the fishing - you won't find a better location with such nice accommodations!
This is just like being "far away" up in the mountains, yet it's only a 15 minute drive from towns in either direction! nice accommodations! The cabins are located just 10 miles up Provo Canyon - new 4 lane highway all the way. From the cabins, it's another pleasant 15 minute drive to Midway/Heber Ciy & 30 min to Park City. Sundance Resort is 20 min away & is your 1st stop on the Alpine Loop scenic driveway.
If you like to "explore" the area, we have a book in the cabins with lists of things to do & sites to see!
The Unique Benefits of this Cabin
I've personally furnished & decorated both cabins with everything our guests will need to fill pampered; homey, yet still "on vacation"!The cabins are heated and have A/C, although the weather is typically so pleasant that you don't need A/C! If you have kids, there is a grassy area for them to run & play. If you want to relax, sit by the running river & take in the scenery - I can't think of a better place to be! At night, you can BBQ ( gas grills provided) or enjoy a wiener roast over the campfire - fire pit on site - then after dark grab a quilt & come inside & watch satellite TV or movies on DVD. The fishing is the best in the state & right on location! During the summer months, rafting on the Provo River is in full swing. In fact, during the day, you'll hear/see the rafters float by, hooping it up & having a ball! We have on-site caretakers who manage the RV park nearby. They are there to assist you, should you have any needs.

We have now stayed here twice and love these clean little cabins that are just 20 ft from the Provo river. Quick and easy to Provo/Orem and also really close to Heber. The old Creeper train comes by twice a day. Great place and good value. Will be back!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

We spent a week at this cabin and family of ours rented the adjacent cabin. They are both very clean and up to date. It is a quick drive either to Provo or Heber for shopping or dining. The kitchens are well stocked with everything you need to live in during your stay. The beds and linens were very clean and nice. We loved our stay here and are planning on returning often in future years.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Beautiful location (right on river, great view of mountains, close to town) and very nice cabin (more like a small, brand new home). Nice neighbors in adjacent RV park, easy for the kids to make friends, etc. Spent a week in July 07. A great find. Will return next summer. Its perfect.
