MONTEREY BAY VIEW BEACH HOUSE: This cozy house is located in a quaint neighborhood near beautiful Seacliff State Beach in Aptos, California. Aptos is just 35 miles north of Monterey and 78 miles south of San Francisco. This property is just steps away from the Monterey Bay with ocean views from the living room, kitchen/dining area and spacious deck. The house has a ‘reverse’ floor plan (bedrooms are on bottom floor).

This three bedroom, two bath, smoke-free house is situated near the Beachgate path to Seacliff State Park in Aptos, with miles of white sand beaches ideal for walking, sunbathing, jogging, swimming and beach recreation. This beach has some of the warmest water and safest swimming in Northern California, and provides summer lifeguards, restrooms, showers, snack bar, and a great fishing pier. Or take a short walk south on the beach to Rio Del Mar for restaurants and supplies.

The living room, dining room, kitchen, and large deck feature views of the Monterey Bay from Pleasure Point all the way south to Monterey. Relax and enjoy watching the migration of gray whales, the thousands of shore birds, and the antics of the local dolphins and seals.

Close to the Santa Cruz beach and boardwalk. Minutes to Capitola shopping and restaurants. Beach has picnic tables and barbecue grills. With the redwoods and the beach in one idyllic setting, Aptos visitors can savor Saturday morning shopping at the farmers' market, afternoon bike rides through the redwoods, and romantic sunsets on the beach. Just beyond the pier, visitors can inspect the ruins of the Palo Alto, an Aptos landmark the locals call the "Cement Ship." The heart of Aptos is its historic village, lined with great boutiques, restaurants, and movie theater. The village also serves as the gateway to the lush wilderness of the Forest of Nisene Marks State Park.

  • Enjoyed a fabulous stay at this gorgeous home. We loved the sunny living area, beautiful hot tub and deck. The attention to detail was wonderful, right down to the comfy robes hanging in the closets. Clean, nicely decorated, comfortable. Perfect location! We'll be back soon.

  • Fantastic Spot - great deck and very well decorated.. We've stayed here a couple times actually and would recommend it over and over - we can't wait to go back.. 5 Minute walk to the beach and to some nice restaurants as well. Very economically priced for what you get here - a jewel.

  • We truly enjoyed our stay. The spacious deck offers fantastic entertaining possibilities, and even in the rain the expansivie ocean view from the living room was quite soothing. We celebrated my parents 50th wedding anniversery with local family and friends. One rainy evening we comfortably entertained 12 persons for dinner. We greatly enjoyed the privacy of the location, the easy walk to the beach, and the easy access from hwy 1.

  • Was pleasantly surprised at the light, open feel of the upstairs. Kitchen, living room, & one bathroom is upstairs (3 bedrooms + bathroom downstairs on ground level). Right off the living room is a large tiled patio, with deck furniture, patio table/umbrella and a BBQ grill. You can relax out there with music from the outside speakers. Hot tub in backyard. Loved the beach theme in the house and all the dishes/plates to go along with it. Well equipped/stocked house. Limited movie selection so you may want to bring your own. Wireless internet worked fine. Would recommend!

  • The house was great! The upper level deck is very large with lots of chairs for enjoying the fresh air and views. The hot tub was enjoyed by young and old. Nice short walk to the staircase to the concrete ship and beach. Thanks for having us!

  • This is a plesant, sunny, adorable home, within walking distance to the nicest beach in Aptos. It boasts a large ocean view deck with a patio set and lounge chairs. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and cookware. I would highly recommend this home for families or couples. Cheers!

  • This is the ideal vacation rental. It is clean and fresh and beautifully maintained. The home has a large kitchen with many cooking utensils. Gas stove, big refrigerator, and great deck with ocean views. We brought three kids who used the boogie boards and other toys at the beach each day. The beach is a short walk (2 blocks) to the path that takes you down to the ocean. The beach was not very crowded so we could pick our spot. The home has a washer and dryer which comes in handy with kids. It is a short drive to Capitola and just a few miles more to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. Our family has seven members and there was lots of room for everyone. I would reccommend this home to anyone looking for a quiet getaway close to the beach.
