great condo, well-equipped, excellent value. Be aware that check-in is in Dillon--which could have been inconvenient since we drove in on I 70 early am to ski all day at Copper with plans to check in around 4; which would have required driving back to Dillon-- the folks were nice enough to let us stop by and get keys in am to avoid backtracking later; the garage is very convenient with carts for quick unloading; short walk to American Eagle/Flyer

We have stayed in Copper Mountain 3 times since last year and this was by far the best place we have stayed. We thought that the studio condo that we stayed in before at Tucker Mountain was great and were afraid to switch units but we were definately wrong. David was awesome to work with ....he always got right back to me if I had a question and even paid me for a crock pot that I purchased to use during our stay, which I will enjoy using next year when we return. The view of the skating rink and the quaint buildings surrounding it was such a pleasure to look out over. Our kids were able to go out and skate while I made breakfast and when it was ready, I would just walk out on the deck and call them. I always felt safe during our stay. We even sent them to the little grocery store to buy milk by themselves and let them go to the hot-tub by themselves. And as always the skiing was incredible! Thanks so much for loaning us your great condo, we are already planning our next trip to Copper! P.S. Thanks to the renters that suggested the dog sled rides with Good Times Adventures - located by Breckenridge - it was a blast even though it was a little pricey!

David was wonderful to work with, even from the very beginning of our vacation planning process (5 months prior to our visit). He always responded immediately to our questions, etc., via telephone call or email. The listing description & photos are accurate. The location is perfect - right in the middle of Center Village, overlooking the ice skating lake, & barely a minute walk to a Lift. Also in the middle of shops, grocery store, liquor store, restaurants/bars, ski/board rentals, etc. The Sleep-Number Bed was great - we were able to adjust the bed to be just like ours at home - which is important when you're stressing-out your back from skiing & boarding every day. The property was very clean & well-maintained. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family. Our stay was from December 18-26th and the Village was very quiet at night. Even though the restaurants, skating rink, & shops were open, there wasn't a ton of activity after 6pm. This was fine for us because after skiing all day, then hot-tubbing, dining, skating, etc. we'd be happy in our pj's by 8pm! We stayed busy the entire 9 days & recommend the following: 1) We researched ski/board rental prices & found the best deal at Breeze Rentals, located toward the back of Center Village. 2) Apres Ski Entertainment - Moe Dixon at JJ's in the East Village...he's a great entertainer who performs from 3-5:15pm. He's along the lines of a Jimmy Buffet/James Taylor type singer. Very laid back & family oriented. Another place for Apres Ski is Jack's in Center Village. Lefty Lucy is a fun group who perform there Wed-Sun, 3:30-6pm. This is less family-friendly however, as they encourage people doing shots of Jager while standing on the bar. Don't get me wrong - I love to party - but don't know if it's appropriate for our kids to see us promoting such behavior. 3) Sugar Lips Donuts - located just outside the condo building entrance...YUM!!! 4) Alpinista Restaurant - Great breakfasts & fun fondue dinners. Try their Bruschetta - it's awesome! 5) Of course, the skiing was fabulous, but the most fun we had was Dog Sledding at Good Times Adventures in Breckenridge - what a blast that was in an amazingly beautiful setting! The dogs & guides were awesome too! 6) For more lively shopping & dining experiences-Breckenridge is the place to visit & only 20 mins away. It's much more commercialized though -which is nice to visit & still come back to quiet "home" at Copper Mt.

The place was exactly as described. Owner was very quick to respond to my questions before I got there. Perfect location in Center Village. Walking distance to chair lifts. Clean place, nice amenities. My 23 year old brother said it was his best vacation ever! I will be back here...it was perfection! I highly recommend!

We had a wonderful get-away at this Taylor's Crossing condo! The unit was clean, well-appointed and very comfortable for the three of us. The view over the lake was great, and we really enjoyed our first stay in Center Village (usually we stay on the East side). The location can't be beat in terms of proximity to restaurants, skiing and activities. As the mom of a toddler, I really appreciated the quietness of the unit and building in general when it came time for nap and night sleep. My daughter loved visiting Sweet Lips, the mini donut shop right next to Taylor's Crossing for "treats" and we made our first trip to Endo's for dinner - get the Adrenaline burger! It made us sad we had wasted so many meals at Jacks and JJs in the past :) We also made the quick trip over to Breck for the lighting of the Christmas tree and some browsing. We've already recommended this unit to several friends for future trips to the mountains. Thanks again for making such a great get-away possible!

Great location and awesome condo. Owner clearly pays attention to details and unit is well maintained. Much better than other Copper managed properties we've stayed at before in the very same bldg. Owner contacted us the same day as inquiry with all the info we needed. Look forward to staying there again.

Great condo, right in the middle of all the goings on. WiFi and sound system was a nice addition. We missed trying out the hot tub due to a terrific snowstorm, but that was good powder for skiing.

Very nice condo. Listing is accurate. Right in the middle of Center Village close to shops, restaurants, and lifts. The pictures are accurate and the property is clean and well-maintained. The hot tub is wonderful after a day of skiing. I would recommend this property and we'll certainly try to come back next year. The owner was quick in getting back to me and great about answering questions during the rental process thorugh VRBO. Could use some hot-pads and instructions for the sleep number bed programming.

This is a wonderful ski-in/ski-out condo. It is just right for a family of four. The condo is conveniently located in Center Village. We had to take one of our children to ski school and the other to childcare in the mornings. The condo is 3 minutes walk from childcare but one needs to drive to Union Creek to drop off at the ski school, however; with the heated underground garage it is extrememly easy to just pop in the car without bundling up the kids right away. I would highly recommend the condo. As some of the other reviews mentioned dvd player and hair dryier. We found the DVD player working and the hair dryier availabe. The suggestion I would have is to provide a pack and play for renters. Since the bed is pretty high had to block one side of the bed with chairs to prevent my 10 month-old from falling off. Thus we had only two chairs available for sitting at the table for meals.

I have had several great experiences through VRBO, and this was no exception. It is a great value compared to booking through Copper Mountain resort, and I believe the unit is probably nicer than most of what Copper would have to offer at a higher price. There is more than enough space for all the skiwear for 2 people. The sound system is good, and typically not offered in rentals. The view is very good, and overlooks a skating rink below. The fireplace puts out great heat, and the Sleep number bed truly was comfortable for sleeping. We really appreciated the convienence this condo offered. The garage is heated, and parking was never an issue, with spaces available close to the elevator, which was only steps away from the room. Carts are available in the garage for hauling luggage and groceries. The proximity to the slopes great, and it was no problem to take a break back in the condo instead of public facilities. Also, having stayed at East Village in the past, I much preferred the location in the Center Village for the slopes. I have skiied other Summit County slopes, as well as other Western resorts, and Copper is definitely a favorite for it's layout. Dave was excellent to work with for renting his condo - if he can accomodate you, he will. Recommendations: Copper offers a free mountain tour 2x/day as well as a free snowshoe tour 2x/day. Even if you've skiied Copper before, the Mountain tour is worth doing, and it allows you to not have to think about which direction you're going, it's all going to be good with the guide. They can also provide good recommendations for the rest of your stay. On a day that was a bit too cold (sub 0 w/wind) for skiing, we opted for the Snowshoe tour, which was something different to do in the snowy terrain. While I wouldnt call it difficult, you should be in decent shape - it takes more out of you than skiing. For dining, we took one of our ski tour guide's recommendations for Toscato in Frisco. He also recommended the Blue Spruce for a good steak, or the Boat House for good, reasonably priced food. Toscato was good Italian food in a nice atmosphere. A drive to Breckenridge is also worthwhile, and reminiscent of Park City for it's downtown atmosphere. We ate at Alpine Cafe there, which is very good - fine dining quality, intimate atmosphere, but not outrageously expensive. Our only dining out at Copper was the Storm King lounge right outside Taylors Crossing, which is a cozy sushi bar restaurant that also has

As a first time skier and visitor to Colorado, this was the perfect stay. The condo is in a great location in the center of Copper Mountain's resort with easy access to the ski lifts and any events that are happening in Center Village. The whole process (from key pickup to checkout) was painless. I found all necessary amenities (an iron, a razor, a wine opener, etc.), but ladies might want to note that no hair dryer is provided. Washer and dryer are right down the hall, but don't forget to bring a roll of quarters. As parking is provided underneath the building, there are no worries about searching for an open spot, warming up a cold car, or clearing the windows of snow/ice. The convenience of being able to return to the condo for lunch/short nap between ski sessions was perfect (they're particularly exhausting if you have never had to acclimate to altitude). While you might be able to save a few dollars by staying off of Copper Mountain property, the money saved in eating lunch in (by bringing food bought in Idaho Springs, a town on the way up the mountain), the convenience of the parking, and the nearness to all things skiing couldn't be beat. And if you don't find the bed soft enough, don't miss the memory foam topper stored underneath the bed.

This condo is extremely nice. It is very convenient to the lifts and the entire Copper Village since it is right in the middle of everything. I would have rated the condo as 5 stars/excellent if we would have been able to use the DVD player. We brought some movies to watch but could not due to the fact that the HDMI cable was missing. Other than that, the place was top notch.
