Our cute, cozy cabin is located among tall pine trees, in the mountain community of Munds Park, south of Flagstaff (there are over 100 pine trees on the lot!!). This is the perfect rental for one/two couples or a small family. Why pay the extra rent for a cabin that sleeps 8-10 when all you need is a cozy two bedroom/two bath?

Located conveniently between Sedona and Flagstaff, you will enjoy the cooler summer and fall temperatures due to the higher elevations in Northern Arizona (7,000 feet). Day temperatures range in the high 70's to mid 80's and nights cool down to the 40's and 50's. There is easy access to I-17, and it is only a 90 minute drive from north Phoenix!

Located near the entrance to the Coconino Forest Preserve, you can enjoy hiking trails, fishing on nearby lake, mountain biking and ATVs. Take a day trip to beautiful Sedona (40 minutes away) or to the Grand Canyon (2 hours). Visit downtown Flagstaff (20 minutes away) with its quaint shops and restaurants, or simply relax and read a book on the large front deck under the towering pine trees.

This tastefully decorated cabin is fully furnished with two bedrooms and two baths. Each bedroom has a queen bed with adjoining bathrooms and the bedrooms are on opposite sides of the cabin. There is a 37' Flat Screen Hi-Definition TV (Direct TV) with a DVD player in the living room and a small TV in the bedroom, plus High Speed Wireless Internet connection through Century Link. The cabin is kept very clean and stocked with alot of extra's for your enjoyment. Please read the guest comments - our previous guests provide the best advertising for our site!

We live in Colorado and this was our first vacation to Arizona and we are SO glad we found this wonderful cabin. Dan and Elaine are amazing and so accommodating, the cabin is absolutely perfect and so is the location. It was so nice to go explore the various areas of Arizona and then come "home" to the cabin. The cabin was sooo comfortable and lovely; had everything you could possibly need; and the yard and area was so serene and beautiful. The cabin is lovingly maintained and stocked for the guests. And yes, we would stay there again in a heartbeat! You HAVE to go to the slot canyons in Page, (Ken's Guided Tour of Lower Antelope Canyon), Horseshoe Bend, Walnut Canyon Cliff Dwellings, Sunset Crater, Wupatki National Monument, Canyon De Chelly, Montezuma National Monument, Sedona and of course the Grand Canyon. Thank you Dan and Elaine for sharing your lovely cabin with us!

My husband and I spent 3 weeks at the cabin and thoroughly enjoyed it! The cabin is charming and clean, fully equipped with everything necessary for a vacation stay. The split bedroom arrangement is very good for having two couples or a family staying in the cabin. The drive to Flagstaff is very easy and quick. The listing photos are a very accurate representation of the cabin, though they don't quite do it justice. We found the owners to be very helpful and they answered any questions we had very quickly. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to friends or family.

This wonderful place is as beautiful as the pictures show. We loved spending time with our 3 year old son out on the deck and running in between the pine trees. The owners were so wonderful and caring that they even called us to make sure we were okay after an unusually large storm passed our way. We enjoyed many nights watching T.V. and cooking in the kitchen. The leaves turned color while we were there and this cabin was the perfect retreat. We loved eating at the Lone Pine Restaraunt which quickly became our favorite little place to get great sandwiches and Cheese Crisps! We absolutely loved these owners and their beautiful "Cabin in the Pines." Thank you so much! We will definitely be recommending this place to our friends and family.

Cabin was great and sitting on the deck was one of the best parts of our vacation. Munds Park was a great place to stay - I love it there. Great location - so close to Flagstaff, Oak Creek Canyon and Sedona. We were able to have a short drive to all the places we wanted to visit and then come back to the cabin which was in a secluded and beautiful neighborhood. Like I said above I enjoyed sitting on the deck every night and we were able to eat dinner out there as well. The cabin had everything I could ask for. I also enjoyed laying on the couch and relaxing :)

Nothing but good things to say about this rental and its location! Fantastic location and a wonderful place with many extras. We enjoyed Sedona (2 days), the Grand Canyon, Oak Creek Canyon, Sunset Crater and the surrounding ruins and ran out of time before we ran out of things to do. Easy drives to everything! Wonderful owners who were very nice and easy to work with. Oh and did I mention the extras included in the home, and the very nice call from the owners to check on us and make sure all was right! These 2 southerners will definitely return :)!

This was the last stop on our southwest honeymoon and we had a great time. We enjoyed so many great sites and experiences nearby: rented bikes and rode to Hermit's Rest at the Grand Canyon (have them pump up your tires!); Walnut Canyon cliff dwellings; Sunset Crater and Wupatki Pueblo ruins (gotta check out the blowhole, it was amazing!); Jerome and Sedona, Oak Creek Canyon and downtown Flagstaff (try Criollo restaurant and the Beaver St. Brew Pub if I've got the name right). We also stopped at the Meteor Crater on the way to Flagstaff, and the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest. Such a wonderful area full of fun things to do in and out of town.

A very nice house, comfortable, clean, well furnished, very quiet in a good location, handy for lots of sightseeing, and with very very helpful owners. We'd certainly recommend it to others. As for activities - in addition to the Grand Canyon and Flagstaff, we'd like to recommend Canyon de Chelly, the Verde Canyon Railroad, and, in summer, the Scenic Skyride in Flagstaff. Arizona has a lot to offer, and we enjoyed every minute of it.

We just wanted to say thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home last week. It was perfect. You've created a lovely oasis for those of us who aren't fortunate to live in your state. The house was very comfortable and well stocked with a lot of items we wouldn't have expected, like tin foil, saran wrap, tea, sugar even Olive Oil. We didn't spend a lot of time at the cabin, but what time we did spend felt like home. We loved exploring the area and although we've come home exhausted, we're completely satisfied with all we saw and did. We took your advice and chose not to go to the Petrified Forest (another ranger made the comment that people were 'underwhelmed' by the experience). We drove the Oak Creek Canyon road into Sedona that day instead. (and 2 other times...we really loved the Red Rocks) Our Grand Canyon River Adventures was amazing...and we'd highly recommend any of your renters to consider that tour as it gave us every possible angle of the Canyon since we'd driven the Desert View Drive the day before. Sunset Crater and Wupatki Monument were also wonderful. We ended our time with a sunset over Cathedral Rock (one of the 'hike's listed in your books). Amazing. Thanks again. We'll be sure to recommend your home to our friends. R&J

Our visit to Munds Park was the best vacation we've had in a long time! The cabin was warm and welcoming, spotless, and a wonderful place to come home to at the end of some very busy days! I would highly recommend at stay here. Diana and Dean

                          Why the Owner Chose Flagstaff:
We started vacationing in Arizona in the mid 1990's and FELL IN LOVE with the beauty of this state - especially Sedona and the Grand Canyon. We moved to Arizona from the midwest 11 years ago and have never regretted it. But, the summers are very hot in the desert, so we started venturing to northern Arizona during the summer months and discovered the cooler temperatures of the Flagstaff area. We bought our place in this area because of the quaintness and the abundance of pine trees, without being far away from public services - such as city water and sewer, a fire station (very important), and friendly neighbors. The proximity to Sedona, Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon is wonderful because our place is located just minutes from I-17 and you can get anywhere quickly. We love spending time in our cabin get-away and hope to spend alot more time there after we retire. But for now, we hope YOU enjoy it as much as we do.

The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
You will be 35-40 minutes from Sedona and 15-20 minutes (straight up I-17) to Flagstaff. The south rim of the Grand Canyon is 1-1/2 hours away. Our cabin is charming and cozy - we keep it well-maintained and stocked with extras for your convenience. If you walk out at dark and look up at the sky, you will see stars like you've never seen before. The deck on the front is 500 square feet and it is where you will spend most of your time! It is also not uncommon to see several Elk just standing along the empty lots on the main road that runs through Munds. That's why we love it!
