This well maintained Victorian is set far enough off of Thames Street for those solitude evenings drinking lemonades and relaxing on the front porch. This is the landlord's apartment and is being offered to hard working people (like myself!).
You will find a nice lawn and patio in the backyard for barbecues and entertaining. The neighborhood is called the "fifth ward". Irish Immigrants inhabited this neighborhood with many working at the mansions two blocks from here. Everything is within walking distance including ferries to Block Island and Fort Adams for the Folk and Jazz Festivals.
There is off-street parking as well as a returnable guest pass available. Enjoy the wide varieties of restaurants and nightlife for all. You do not have to worry about parking. Everything is well within walking distance. Narragansett Bay is within two blocks. Check out the yachts and waterfront restaurants. First Beach is less than a mile away. This is truly the ideal location for exploring Newport. This is also a great neighborhood which consists of families and professionals and I cherish them all... immensely. I know you will too.
