Described as one of the healthiest places in the nation, this unspoiled nature-lover's paradise enjoys remarkably mild winter weather and glorious summers. We're told by visitors that our approximately 2000-square foot house and its acreage are amongst the most beautiful in Kanab.
Far from the crowds, and surrounded by scenic splendor, this recently renovated, fully-equipped ranch home from home features Satellite HDTV and 40" SONY 1080i flatscreen, a large king bedroom with a large walk-in closet as well as a newly renovated ensuite bathroom with whirlpool tub. There are an additional two generous queen bedrooms with a large newly renovated separate bathroom. An inflatable aerobed is available to be set up in one of the two living rooms to sleep up to eight people comfortably. The rear of the house has a fenced garden that is safe for pets and kids.
The house also boasts a new 30 foot by 12 foot deck for lounging and entertaining, as well as a smaller trellis-covered patio deck for intimate meals or if you want more shade. Situated in a canyon on almost four acres of very private land, it boasts breathtaking unobstructed views of the surrounding vermilion cliffs. It is extremely secluded, peaceful and quiet.
Situated at the center of some of the most beautiful national parks and landscapes in the United States, it is not surprising that Hollywood selected this beautiful area to shoot many famous westerns like John Wayne's "Stagecoach" and Clint Eastwood's "Outlaw Josey Wales" as well as TV shows like "Gunsmoke." You can still visit the remains of the old movie locations.
The house is only five minutes from all the amenities of the picturesque and historic "wild-west" town of Kanab. Make us your base from which to explore and discover eight of America's most scenic wonders, all just minutes away. Kanab is at the center of some of the best major national parks and monuments like Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, Lake Powell (Glen Canyon), Kodachrome, Grand Staircase Escalante, and Grand Canyon North Rim.
