"Salamander Hill" is a cozy cabin nestled in the woods all by itself. It was recently remodelled and is very comfortable! It is located just minutes from Connestee Falls, but has much more of a "woodsy" feel! You can see deer, turkey, white squirrels, and maybe even a Black Bear from your screened porch.
This small cabin has one bedroom with a queen bed, one bath, and a living room/kitchen with a futon, and a single folding cot. This would make a great romantic honeymoon cabin, or just for that romantic week with someone special.
The cabin is just 8 miles from Dupont State Park with its mountain biking, hiking, and horseback riding. The trails in Dupont make viewing 3 major waterfalls very accessible. Caesar's Head State Park and Jones Gap State Park are just 10 miles away in SC. Connestee Falls waterfalls are less than 5 minutes away. Pisgah Forest and its hiking and biking are less than 20 minutes.
All of this less than 10 miles from Brevard, NC; 25 miles from Downtown Hendersonville, NC; 1 hour from Greenville, SC; and 3 1/2 hours from Atlanta. |
