The Beach House is a fabulous beachfront home, steps from beautiful Parksville beach, with panoramic breathtaking views of Georgia Strait and surrounding coastal mountains. The walk-on, warm, sandy beach and the large,in-ground, swimming pool are a delight to all.
The house is large (4000 square feet) and perfect for family reunions. It has four bedrooms and comfortably sleeps up to ten adults. The master bedroom (king-size bed) with ensuite is upstairs. Downstairs are three bedrooms; one bedroom has a queen size bed while the other a double-size bed. The third and larger bedroom has a king-size bed. There are also two single beds in the large recreation room downstairs. There are two bathrooms downstairs, one full and the other a two piece. Sliding doors from the recreation room lead out to the pool area and beach. At the pool area; lounge chairs, picnic table and ping pong table can be
found.
Upstairs is a large living room, a dining room which seats up to ten people, a family room, a laundry room, and a fully-equipped kitchen. The family room and kitchen have large, double, sliding doors that lead out to the deck. The deck is equipped with a gas barbecue and patio furniture.
Everyone loves the Beach House, whether it be an early morning walk on the beach with the tide way out, with gulls overhead, and a fresh breeze, an evening dip in the pool followed by a bonfire on the beach, or a quiet evening with a seafood feast on the deck with the tranquil and soothing sound of the waves lapping on the beach at full tide. Whatever your fancy may be, this setting has a tendency to fill its occupants with peace and tranquillity.
Perfect for a summer or winter vacation. Excellent downhill skiing at Mount Washington only a short drive away.

Our fourth year at the Beach House

Our first two years at the beach house we only had one week, but enjoyed it so much, we jumped on the chance to increase our time to two weeks in our third and fourth year - and have already booked two weeks for summer 2011. The Beach House is spacious and well-maintained. It is beautifully appointed and furnished, but still encourages casual and relaxing living. Lovely bedding and towels. It would be very easy for more than one family to vacation here together - there is tons of space for everyone's needs. The outdoor living areas are again amazing - lots of room, lots of seating options and the in-ground pool in the backyard is an enormous bonus. And the view - WOW - right on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, but rarely crowded and very safe, even for young children. Lots of sea life and bird life to watch, kite flying, sand castle building, swimming, walking - the options are endless. Watching the cruise ships pass by in the evenings is one of our favourite things to do. Although it is hard to leave the beach house, there are many, many fun things to do close by whether it is hiking at a beautiful waterfall, visiting the goats on the roof in Coombs or funky Qualicum Beach, golfing, etc., it is all close by. Parksville itself offers lots of options for grocery shopping and other types of small shops to meet almost all of your needs. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone that enjoys a beach environment and that wants to create a vacation full of fabulous memories.

This charming, spacious beach house offers all the comforts of home plus an absolutely beautiful setting. The ocean view is outstanding both from the spacious balcony and the garden. The heated pool entices both children and adults with comfortable deck furniture for relaxing. The bedrooms are large and the mattresses and linens are top notch. The house is well located - close to grocery stores the Municipal Park and many amusements.
Recommended for:Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.
