Why the Owner Chose Midtown

I lived and worked in Manhattan when I was younger, and never got over the sheer joy and wonder of being in the midst of so much human diversity and talent. Every light twinkling on the skyline seems like a story to be told. Years later, now married, my wife (another New York fanatic) and I were on one of our many visits when we decided to find ourselves a second home. We are still ecstatic and grateful to have it, and come at every opportunity we can find. Our plan is to gradually increase the amount of time we live here.

The Unique Benefits at this Condo

There is no better location from which to sample Manhattan than Midtown West. We are a block from every form of public transportation. We are in the middle of the Theater District, which we love dearly. We can walk to a restaurant of any imaginable cuisine. Or we can wander aimlessly and just see what we encounter, a pastime that has given us some of our fondest memories. The building is new and clean, and the staff and residents are friendly and helpful. The apartment is spacious and full of windows and light, with stunning views in many directions. Despite being at the center of the action, the apartment itself is quiet, private, and peaceful, a rare combination in the middle of Manhattan.

Owner's Map of Midtown

Most of the time I'm a residential architect in California (our work can be seen at www.davidsolnick.com). Before that I was a molecular biologist studying and working in New York. And before that I grew up in an unremarkable suburb of Southern California, which I have happily escaped. My wife Melissa and I have 4 children, none of whom will ever feel confined to life in suburbia.
