Welcome to paradise. Our second floor condo offers homey comforts with an air of sophistication. The many upgrades add to its elegance, setting it apart.

With over 2,500 square feet of one level living space, it is large enough to accommodate family vacations or adult get-aways, yet romantic enough for the perfect honeymoon.

As you enter, the ocean view hits you immediately beyond the almost 36 feet of glass. The Great Room combines the open kitchen, living and dining rooms. Embraced with comfort in mind, we carefully chose beautiful leather and wood to furnish with.

Everything one would need to prepare scrumptious meals or tropical beverages can be found in the kitchen. We have a toaster, coffee machine, blender, juicer, hand mixer, the Magic Bullet, water cooler, George Forman Grill, ice cube maker, microwave, etc.

The huge Master Bedroom Suite has a king-size bed with full bath, including jetted tub and large walk-in shower. A large flat screen television is hung on the wall for your enjoyment. The closet has a built in safe for your valuables.

Suite Two has a queen-size bed, mirrored dresser, end tables and ensuite bath with shower.

Bedroom Three also has a queen size bed, end tables and is steps away from the hallway bathroom with shower.

Each bedroom has plush linens, pillow top mattress', iPod stations, flat screened televisions, ceiling fans, large cedar lined closets with hangers, built in dresser drawers with open shelving above and A/C. Aero-beds are available. A Murphy bed is being constucted, soon offering additional sleeping or comfort while watching the huge living room flat screen tv. All showers have easy cleaning glass block enclosers. Hot water is supplied by an "on demand" water heater system.

The huge balcony runs the entire width of the condo. This outdoor living space is done with bamboo furnishing including a table for six, love seat, day bed and rocking chairs, all with plush cushions. Grill up the dinner on the BBQ. The view is spectacular, morning sunrises with the best Dominican coffee are well worth waking up for. This is the place you will find yourself hanging out the most!

We now have a professional massage table. Our dear friend Rosa, a trained masseuse is available at an extremely reasonable price to provide you with a truely relaxing experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Our caretaker and best friend, Benny, is available for hire to translate, chauffeur, tour, etc. We have our Mercedes Benz SUV with driver available for rent. Transportation to and from the airport may also be arranged at an additional fee.

The Victorian is a 10-15 minute walk, 2 minutes by car, to Cabarete's "downtown" beach area. There you will find some thing for everyone with internationally influenced bars and restaurants both on and off the beach. The dining experiences and night life are awesome as well as the beach for swimming and sunning during the day. Kites and wind surfing are predominant in the beautiful waters of Cabarete. There are many areas close for the surf boarders, even directly in front of the Vic when the conditions are right. Neighbors, Adam and Claudia of "Cabwake School" can take you wake boarding to a nearby clear river where the water is perfect. Golfing and casino's are close by. Many shops and tours are available. The exciting town of Sosua' is only a 10 minute drive, a must do. We have wonderful neighbors who are willing to lend their knowledge/recommendations when needed, even possibly host a friendly card party or bocce ball tournament.
Our home is close enough to all the action but if you want quiet relaxation, the Victorian is the perfect location.
So much to do, see and experience!!! It's all about your choices.

  • Cindy, I have arrived back home and encountered Bill again, but I just wanted to say thank you so much for opening your home. I had a fantastic time! On a morning jog along the beach I complimented myself that I made the decision of renting from an individual rather than through a resort and how you really went above and beyond in all aspects in your service. From your attention "pre-trip" and arrival, but especially for the opportunity to have a driver that was knowledgeable about the local area. I would have never received that service through a company!!! I also was very impressed with the amount of information I was able to get off your website before leaving. Everything was nice and clean and, WOW, what a well decorated condo! I really appreciate all you did and all the "little details" that made me feel at home for a week! I really enjoyed dinners fon the balcony looking out at the beautiful ocean! Sunrises and sunsets were breathtaking and truly awe inspiring. Even with the passing of Hurricane Bill, I felt safe and comfortable. There was never a loss of power and the "condo team" was always on top of everything. Again, words of thanks are not enough to express my pleasure of this past week. Benny was a dear and even helped with locations for meto check into to hopefully someday join the "Cabarete family". Thanks again for everything! I had a very relaxing, wonderful time. I look forward to another stay in the future.

  • Cindy & Paul your home was just amazing. My family rented this beautiful condo as our residence in July during my wedding. It was the ultimate relaxation, romantic getaway etc. Each day running for wedding things we would happily return home to the condo and just sit out on the balcony enjoying the ocean breezes. Benny was such a help and Rosa gave us wonderful massages overlooking the ocean. This was the absolute best place I have ever stayed in the DR as I have returned many times.   • Dear Cindy and Paul...Your Dominican home is truly exceptional. Pictures simply don't do it justice. Although our group of 6 Seniors has traveled extensively, including over 12 trips to the Dominican Republic, we have never stayed in more beautiful accommodations nor any place with an ocean view to match yours at the Victorian! Location was perfect...we walked every day to the casino, Grocery store, shops and restaurants in Cabarete. It was also easy to hail a bus, cab or motorconcho. We could walk the beach for miles in either direction and had a wonderful view of all the passing kite surfers. We even saw whales one day! What a treat! A special thanks to you, Cindy for all the many unexpected extras you provided. It was a pleasure dealing with you from my very first e-mail. Your thoughtfulness helped make this trip special.   • The Dominican Republic is like a paradise not many know about. I went down over new years and had the time of my life. The people are great, the weather is awesome, and the condo is unbelievable. The food was one of the best parts of the trip, we ate like kings. Once I met Benny and his family it was like ive known them forever. They took care of us like we were there number one priority. The night life was very entertaining not a dull moment. If I were to recomend a get away from reality I would recomend the Dominican Republic in the Vadnais Victorian. You can put a price tag on the whole experience. Liked it, loved it, and I plan on going back year after year.

  • I knew right when we got off the plane this was going to be a great time. The weather was great, not a cloud in the sky. There was a guy holding a sign BENNY, by the way the nicest guy we have ever met. The drive was an adventure. More motor bikes then cars, flying by on the shoulder and the middle of the road. Glad we had Benny to cart us around the whole trip. He is a very safe driver and very funny! We got to the condo, the pictures dont compare with how nice it actually is. We have never stayed at a nicer place. When they said right on the ocean they are not joking. Top of the line evrything. Real comfort and stylish. We spent a lot of time on the balcony, all you can hear are the waves.(where did you get that bed?) The kids loved the pool. It was hard to get them out. Cindy and Benny had told us all the fun stuff to do. Way too much to list and we ran out of time. When we didnt want to go out to eat the Vadnais's had set up a personal chef, Carlos ( another great guy) who cooked fresh seafood that Benny had picked up and it was great, even the kids loved it. benny took us out to some wonderful restaurants and beach bars. The beaches were awesome, fun to watch the kites and people. Massages from the girl(Rosa?) next door are a must. We enjoyed meeting her and her sister Anna. Everyone Benny indroduced us to were so nice. The whole vacation was awesome. One suggestion, go for more then 1 week, it goes by way too fast. Thank-You Vadnais's for letting us stay at your beautiful home and Thank- You to Benny for being the best host,so glad he was with us the entire trip, he really made it great. Can't wait to come back!!!!!

  • This was the BEST family vacation we have ever had. Our first family members arrived with Benny holding up his sign and a couple Presidente's! We were made so welcomed by his charm. After a brief and interesting car ride to our new vac. spot, we walked into the condo and were astonished by the view, size and beauty of this home. We couldn't wait until the rest of the family arrived. Even though I was worried their trip wouldn't of been as easy as our arrival, but again Benny was the welcoming committee and made his presence known to the newcomers. Soon they were comfortable and knew this was the place for them. Being our family was reunited, let the fun countinue!(some of us already considered ourselves the pro's having been there three days ahead!). Location of the Victorian was perfect because it is in a quiet setting but close enough to the town's entertaiment. We drove with Benny at night, but during the day, we walked back and forth to Cabarete, sometimes twice a day. My husband figured out dining on the other side of the street was cheaper and the food was just as good. Benny often took us to places off the main road or beaten path, that were so much fun and cost effective. We soon learned you don't have to spend all your time on the beach side(especailly when feeding 9 people!). We did love the beach too. This condo was less expensive then a hotel or an all inclusive. Cost is an important factor when traving with college and high school children, they still depend on mom and dad to pay for everything! We could go either way on the beach and had wonderful meals at two of the neighboring resorts. The deck was perfect for outdoor dining when we cooked at home. Cooking was a breeze with all the kitchen had to offer including the outside grill and Ben's help. We all fit comfortably in this spacious condo and enjoyed it's beauty and location. Thanks for all the advice and Benny. please note your pictures do not do the condo or Cabarete justice! We do plan on returning.

Benny was wonderful and a huge asset to our stay - he made sure we were well taken care of and had a great time. We loved eating in the local Dominican restaurants, playing pool and dancing the night away at the local pool hall/open air night club. The walks along the beach and watching the sun come up over the ocean from the large porch were highlights.   • Paul and Cindy, Our group of 6 had an absolutely fabulous time at the Vadnais Victorian and in the Dominican Republic. This was our first visit here. Both your condo and the Dominican Republic exceeded our expectations. We have traveled extensively in the Caribbean (Mexico, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, and St. Maartin) and we believe the beach in Cabarete may be the nicest beach in the world. From your place we could walk as many miles as we wanted on beautiful sand. The kite surfers and wind sailors are beautiful and fun to watch. The people of the DR are very friendly and made us feel safe and most welcome. The many restaurant choices and good food were a definite plus as well. The accommodations at the Vadnais Victorian are even better than your pictures show. The spacious balcony where we spent the mornings watching the sun come up over the ocean and the evenings enjoying the warm breeze smoking fine Cuban cigars certainly got plenty of use by our group. Three bedrooms and three bathrooms, your tasteful furnishings and even laundry facilities made this place perfect for us. I would strongly recommend that anyone staying here take advantage of the SUV and driver available. Benny was a helpful and gracious host, showing us places that we would not have found on our own. It was great to have him as a “guide”, helping us to communicate (my Spanish ran out after ordering a beer and asking for the bathroom) and negotiating a fair deal with local vendors. He seems to know everybody in town and introduced us to many of them. Having Benny around made a good trip into a great trip. We can’t wait to go back! Thank you! Tom & Renee McDonough

  • We had the pleasure of staying at the Vadnais Victorian Condo. The ambiance was incrediable along with the elegant furnishings with fresh flowers in every room and beautiful ocean front out your large balcony. We were greeted by a wonderful and hospitable person from Puerto Plata who was our guide and driver for the week. He was very knowledgable about the surrounding cities, fabulous resturants, beautiful beaches and the country side. We will absolutley return.

  • We were able to stay at the Vadnais Victorian for our Honeymoon! We wanted a place that we could go and have privacy and do nothing... and that is exactly what we did. We spent hours relaxing on the balcony... The weather was gorgeous the whole time, we were there for the first two weeks of Oct... and loved every minute! We walked the beach to Cabarete and enjoyed the 'local Irish Pub'! Everyone was so nice, it was a great place to be! We also enjoyed many meals at the all inclusive when we didn't want to cook next door, and the meals were Exquisite for very little money! Benny was wonderful, taking us into Sasoua and Puerto Plata showing us so much more then we ever expected to see! It was wonderful to have a 'friend' to call when we needed help or just wanted a ride! Overall, Josh and I are so pleased that we were given the opportunity to enjoy this paradise in the Republica Dominica! (That is how they say it!) Thank you Paul and Cindy!
