Sunshine Shores Condominiums are located on the gulf side of Thomas Drive. This complex is away from the crowds and noise on the strip end of Thomas Drive. We are located about one mile west of St. Andrews State Park. Gulf Drive runs between the complex and the row of beach houses that are between Sunshine Shores and the beach. There is a public boardwalk to the beach within a short distance. It only takes about a minute to be walking in the sand. The beach usually is uncrowded.
Sunshine Shores Condominium Unit #18 rents for $80 per night (plus 11% tax) from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. (See Rates for the remainder of the year.) It is located on the second floor of this 32 unit facility. All units open to the outside. There is NO HANDICAP accessibility to the second floor unit. The Unit is approximately 350 square feet in size, and has a combination living room/kitchen area, a separate bedroom, and a bathroom that has a shower. The Unit is perfect for two, but will accommodate up to four people. (Four is the limit. The only exception to this policy would be a couple with three small children. Violation of this policy will automatically result in forfeiture of full rental payment and immediate checkout will be required.) Bed linens, towels, paper goods, etc. are NOT provided, and it is the responsibility of each guest to CLEAN the unit upon departure. Cleaning supplies are provided.
A deposit in the amount of $600 is required at the time of reservation. For the deposit to be refunded in the event of a cancellation, said cancellation must occur in a timely manner. (At least a month prior to rental date.) The deposit is refunded when the unit keys are returned and a verification of cleanliness has occurred. Rates are guaranteed only on a yearly basis.
Absolutely NO PETS are allowed, and smoking is STRICTLY prohibited inside the unit. NO EXCEPTIONS!
This unit is for family rental only. The unit is not rented to vacationing students or young adults. Reservations made under false pretenses will be subject to forfeiture of entire rental payment, and immediate checkout will be required.
A copy of all rules and regulations will be provided. Non-compliance of these rules and regulations by the renter will result in an immediate checkout with no refund of monies paid. Any fees (legal, damage, etc.) incurred will be the responsibility of the renter.
There are many things to enjoy in Panama City Beach in addition to the beautiful water and beach. Our complex is located just a block from Schooner's, The Last Beach Club on the Strip. There are many fine restaurants nearby, boats for deep sea fishing, shops and stores, and much, much more.
**WELCOME SNOWBIRDS! We are very interested in having a permanent renter during the winter months. The condo is a great place for a retired couple who wants to leave the harshness of the northern climate to relax in a milder temperature. Other retired couples come south to Sunshine Shores for the winter, and enjoy neighborly fellowship. Winter monthly rental rate is $600, tax included. This amount includes all utilities. You will be responsible for your own long distance phone service. The condo is available for monthly rental beginning November, 2009, until March, 2010. A $600 deposit is required. - Shared Pool : The large swimming pool is a great alternative to the beach. There are lounges available for sunbathing. No glass is allowed in the pool area. There is no lifeguard on duty. Children should ALWAYS be accompanied by an adult. All swim at your own risk.

Year Purchased: 1980
Unit #18, Sunshine Shores, PCB, Florida, was purchased by my parents in September, 1980. My daughter was 20 months old, and we have enjoyed spending our vacations there ever since. Both my children learned to swim there, and met many friends each time we visited. We live in Alabama, between Anniston and Gadsden, about 20 miles off Interstate 20, between Birmingham and Atlanta. We enjoy the family atmosphere at Sunshine Shores and are very thankful that the complex is still a very popular place with return guests. There are several people who live there year-round. I look forward to hearing from you!

Susan - We absolutely loved your condo for Spring Break. It is very peaceful, quiet, and beautiful. The people who live in the complex were so nice to us! We enjoyed being close to the beach and walking to Schooner's for dinner was great! Probably the best trip we have ever taken to PCB. Thanks-Scarlett and Paul McClurg

My family and I have been renting here for the past 5 or 6 years. We always look forward to going back each year. The vintage atmosphere along with the beach is wonderful. We have met several friends that we enjoy seeing each year. It gives you a feeling of coming home again.
