Accommodations:  Colonial House, 5 Bedrooms + Attached Unit, 5 Baths (Sleeps 1-12)

Casa Chandler is a beautiful, lovingly restored, colonial-style villa located in historic downtown Granada. It is 1 block south of Parque Central past La Gran Francia Hotel with a view toward Mombacho Volcano.

The main house has two pool-side guest rooms and a second story master suite with a balcony overlooking the courtyard pool. Each room has one queen bed, bathroom with shower, air conditioner and fan. The master suite also has a deep soaking tub and walk in closet along with a sitting area by the balcony.

The opposite side of the pool from the two main floor suites features an open-air kitchen, dining and entertainment area with cable TV, wireless internet, radio/CD player and ceiling fans. Local artists and artisans work is prominently displayed throughout the house.

The studio apartments - each with private, locked entrance, feature loft bedrooms over kitchenettes which open to the living area. They also have queen size beds, wifi, cable TV, air conditioner, fans and private bathrooms with showers.

The house and studios have a front porch with a table and chairs to enjoy your shade-grown coffee while watching the village awaken.

Due to government-run utilities, electricity and water service may be interrupted sporadically.

  • The house location and accomodations were perfect for our family vacation. Proximity to the large outdoor market was the highlight of our mornings - shopping for local foods and other items. The pool area was a great escape from the afternoon heat while cooler evenings allowed us to partake of the excellent restaurants in the neighborhood. All in all a wonderful vacation for us and our two teenage daughters.

  • Great house! Ideally located in the city of Granada, which is a great place to take day trips from in the Country. Nice medium price compared to the good hotels and lowly hostels on either side of the house and in the area. The pool was very clean and nice.
