Excellent Family holiday in Manhattan Apt

My wife & twin 18 year old boys & I stayed in this apartment for 1 week in early January 2012. We considered it excellent and exactly as advertised. it was nice & quiet! Earlier, whilst deciding which apartment to choose, I found that owners answered all my queries accurately and promptly by e-mail. On arrival, Irina met us as at the apartment arranged and was extremely helpful during our stay. The rooms are of a good size, with furnishings in good condition. The location was excellent, about a 5 minute walk from Time Square and with the subway stations on the same block. Would be go back....Yes, of course! Would we recommend to friends....Yes, of course!

The owner , in fact, has many apartments. The one we had was clean and comfortable. All the facilities listed in the advert were satisfactory. It is in an ideal location for sightseeing and shopping in NY - just off 5th Avenue and couples blocks down from Times Square . One felt safe walking in the area at night. We would be happy to use the apartment again if we return to NY. Eating - there are good eating places in the vicinity. excellent range of hot and cold foods to eat in or take away( such as to the apartment which is just across the road!) Getting around - the hop-on, hop-off buses are very useful. We used City Sights, but there are others. $39 for a Downtown Manhattan tour, but it's worth getting the $49 two day ticket, which includes other tours they also do plus other concessions. We did the downtown and the uptown tours - a good way of getting to places, with commentary on what you're passing on the way. The subway is easy to use. Yellow cabs are reasonable and everywhere at any time day or night! We booked the Empire State Building on-line before we went - no extra cost but it avoids any queue for tickets( although you may still have to queue for security and for the elevators). As it happened, we went on Sunday morning about 10.30 am and there were no queues at all.

We had a terrific family vacation in New York - thanks to Irina. The apartment was lovely and stocked with every things we needed. We lived in walking distance to Times Square. Ideal property for family vacation. Irina has been so pleasant and patient with all our questions and every little request was done so quickly. We will book with you again and will certainly refer you to all our friends and cooworkers.

We really enjoyed our stay. Everyone felt very comfortable and relaxed.The condo was well-furnished and spacious enough that we each could enjoy our privacy. The location was terrific. Irina makes it so easy, she is the best. This unit was located on 42nd street just 4 blocks west of Times Square. Well maintained, 4 can sleep very comfortably, nice kitchen, security on the first floor. Overall we had a great time and I would recommend this unit.

This place was clean and comfortable. It has all the amenities we wanted. This was a long weekend for a girls getaway and this place was perfect. Plenty of places to sleep and PLENTY of linens and pillows! The place is walking distance to Times Square and Broadway and even closer to the Port Authority. You can walk to get to the sightseeing buses or to plays. It really is an ideal location. I have nothing negative to say about the place!

Great New York Apartment on 42nd Street

We enjoyed our stay at Riverside. Plenty of towels, kitchen utensils etc. All facilities were available and good. Well informed by Irina and as we had a late flight she made another apartment available for us to use and store our cases until we were due to leave. Good value, very good position for buses and the centre but far enough away tobe slightly quieter. View down 42nd was excellent and the apartment was close to supermarket and pharmacy. The only slight observation we have is that perhaps it might need freshening up with a repaint, but having said that we would thoroughly recommend this to friends and family, thanks Irina.

We stayed in this apartment and another 2-bedroom one with the same owner in the same building for a total of a week in October 2010. Both apartments were fantastic - really clean and spacious with great views. Irina was very helpful in solving any small issues that arose. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Very nice place to stay in NYC! Light and bright apartment with a great view. The location is super because it is easy to walk to restaurants and the theatre and the subway. The 42nd St bus stops very close to the building so it's easy to get across town. The owner was very welcoming and accommodating. We highly recommend them.

Great location & great views down W42nd & the Hudson River. Apartment was very comfortable & my son & l had a fantastic time in Midtown. We would recommend the apartment to anyone wishing to stay near Times Square & the Theatre district for Broadway & off Broadway shows. Quick bus trip down w 42nd street & you are close to all subway stations to go uptown or downtown. Fantastic location! A stones throw from the Circle line ferry that takes you cruising on the Hudson around Manhattan under Brooklyn Bridge & close to statue of Liberty so you get a wonderful perspective of the size & layout of Manhattan.

We recently stayed at this apartment and had a great time. The apartment was lovely The beds were extremely comfortable aswas the towels and sheets. The owner was easy to deal with and just a great lady. Now on to the shopping--wow, so much shopping and so many rstaurants in the area, it was unbelievable. All within walking distance to the Time Square . The area the apt is in is safe and always people around. We also took advantage of the broadway discount codes and saved over $400 on orchestra seats. All in all, we will be back and we will definitely recommend this apartment to our friends who are traveling to NYC. Anyone staying here will love it!

We really enjoyed spending some times in an apartment like that. At the 16th floor of a high-standing building, the view is really beautiful. The apartment is very clean, spacious. There are all that you need! There is a possibility to use the common washing machine. The neighborhood is very safe even late in the night.

We went in NYC with our kids (16 and 13) for the spring holiday 2009 and rent appartments to Irina (one for 4 days and one for 3 days). Both were great : spacious, clean, well equipment and decoration, good locations, very pleasant buildings with a lot of services. Last but not least, Irina is a very nice person : smily and helpful. It was a very pleasant stay. We recomman this owner.

We had a great stay. Irina was there to meet us, and answered all our questions. The apartment is well furnished and in a great location. The M42 bus runs right in front. That will get you to Times Square in minutes. If you perfer to walk it is not that far and we did it several times. We had a great time and would stay their again when we come back.

We stayed in this apartment for the NYC Marathon. Ida and Irina are fantastic to work with, the apartment is very comfortable and is in a perfect location: Within walking distance of Times Square, the subway, and Central Park. We highly recommend this apartment and hope it's available the next time we're in town.

Perfect! The rental transaction was professionally done. Ida's correspondence was excellent and very timely with all my inquiries. Upon arrival we were met by the owner Irina. We could not have asked for a more warm welcoming. The condo complex is new and very upscale. Most importantly it is located in a very safe area. Irina has done a beautiful job of furnishing the condo. On each floors of the complex there are washer/dryers for a minimal cost. There is a small mini mart attached to the complex and a Food Emporium (NY's chain grocery store) about three easy walking blocks away. For Starbucks lovers - it's just down the corner. The complex supplies a weekly free shuttle up 42nd street until 10am. The Metro bus is just outside the front door of the complex. The hub of Times Square is a healthy walk but safe and easy. Just across the street is the Hudson River and the Circle Line Cruise. You'll love the view of NY lights and the river from the condo windows or complex observation deck. Jake, the front desk manager, is awesome and more than willing to help with any questions. We have rented numerous condo's and this experience definitely deserves an A+

Great first time trip to NYC! This apartment was fabulous. The location was great,...close to Hudson R. parkway and subway. We were able to take the M42 but to Port Authority with ease. The apartment had plenty of hot showers, and it was extremely clean. We would highly recommend it.
