Gorgeous newly constructed townhouse in the old Polish American Club dance hall, located in historic Housatonic - a lovely northern satellite of Great Barrington, this adorable townhouse is right across the street from the wonderful Berkshire Mountain Bakery, where you may acquire fresh sourdough bread, rolls and pizza every day! Housatonic is 15 minutes from Lenox (Tanglewood, Shakespeare and Co) 10 minutes from downtown Great Barrington, 10 minutes from Stockbridge and 15 minutes from Ski Butternut. Air conditioned units with phone, basic cable and wireless internet included.
Three units in all, two available for seasonal rentals. Each unit is a duplex with the kitchen/dining/living room on the upper level as well as a half bathroom. The lower level has two large bedrooms: one with one king bedroom and another with a queen sized bed. There is a beautiful full bathroom with tub/shower combination as well as a washer and dryer.
The upper level has the original, antique, maple, dance hall flooring. The kitchen is brand new with beechwood cabinetry, marble and butcher block counters. The lower level bedrooms are carpeted.
The Berkshires is known for its wonderful shopping, restaurants, galleries, live theater, hiking trails, swimming holes, and ski resorts. We pretty much have it all here and Great Barrington is central to all of these activities and more. Tanglewood, Jacob's Pillow as well as many wonderful museums are all within a shirt drive through the most stunning roadways in the Northeast. This home provides a wide array of cultural recommends as well as a thorough home-information packet. Come on in and relax.... You're on vacation!
