If you need additional space on Fripp Island, check out our other great properties by clicking on these vrbo sites: Magnolia Manor at 101 Ocean Point-#179511 & 619 Dolphin-#119240. We would be delighted to have you as our guest at any of our properties.
Most vacations last about 7 days, but a week at Fripp Island comes with enough memories to last a lifetime.. There’s 3.5 miles of unspoiled, uncrowded white beach just waiting for your footprints in the sand. And when you want to take a break in the pool there are seven to choose from. During the summer season our Beach Rental Hut has cabana umbrellas, beach chairs and boogie boards for your pleasure. You can even get up a game of volleyball in front of the Beach Club.
The natural beauty of Fripp Island is legendary. From the lush subtropical scenes in the “Jungle Book” and "Forest Gump” to the romantic ocean vistas in the “Price of Tides”, the images of Fripp Island will stay in your mind forever. Some 400 families of deer, raccoons and alligators live in perfect harmony with the residents of the island. And where the land meets the sea, the endangered Loggerhead Turtles return each year to lay their eggs along the dune line.
Tennis at Fripp Island is a year round sport. The Racquet Club with 8 Fast-Dry clay courts and two hard courts is directly across the street from the beach and part of the Beach Club complex. If your passion is water sports, you can explore the backwaters and creeks surrounding our island in one of our kayaks or canoes. The resort has so many rental toys you may want to stay an extra week just for the shear fun of it. Golf carts are the preferred method of transportation among guests on the island and can be rented by the week, day or hour. Biking is a great way to explore the island along miles of trails that connect you with every part of the resort. If mopeds are your thing, you can do your sightseeing at 25mph.
The Activity Center is the focal point of all the great social programs on the island like “Meet the Animals." Kids will never forget their first experience at Camp Fripp. If you are 3-12 years old, it’s the most fun you can have with your sneakers on!! Each day is themed and ranges from Pirates of Skull Creek to Wild, Wild West and Mad Scientist Day.
If fishing is your passion, you’ll love coming here. Offshore fishing with our experienced charter guides can be arranged at the Marina Store. The Gulf Stream is abundant with sailfish, mahi-mahi, barracuda, kingfish, grouper and snapper. Inshore fishing for flounder, trout, drum and tarpon is popular around the island. The Marina hosts a number of fishing tournaments in the spring, summer and fall and expert guide service connections. At the end of the day, take a Sunset Cruise on our 49ft pontoon boat or come early for the 2-hour Dolphin Cruise.
Two of the most spectacular golf courses in America are right here on Fripp Island. Ocean Point, a true seaside links course boasts dramatic views of the ocean or inlet on 10 of the 18 holes. On the south end of the island is Ocean Creek, Davis Love III’s first signature course. Ocean Creek offers magnificent panoramic views of the Great Salt Marsh and freshwater lakes with four distinctive rolling dune line that come into play.
Do you still need more things to do?? Try Hunting Island State Park located just before Fripp Island. Hunting Island is the home for a real light house which is awesome to see and explore. Beaufort, SC itself is a very friendly bay town of the old south. It offers many fine restaurants and hours of good looking and shopping its many quaint walkways and southern shops. Beaufort also has a newly finished river walk that people of all ages can enjoy.
Hope you will come and stay at FRIPP ISLAND and enjoy our wonderful BEACH HOUSE Paradise!!

My husband and I stay here for the month of March and didn't want to leave! The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable and spotless. The beds are very comfortable with high quality linens. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware ,utencils and plenty of dinnerware for a crowd . We had family members join us for our last week and everyone loved this spacious home and enjoyed the beautiful deck which was great for viewing the deers! We rode bikes everyday and long walks on the beach . We explored Beaufort and love it there also. We hope to visit again soon.

Our family and friends had a wonderful time at Fripp staying in your beautiful home. The house was extremely well decorated and we loved looking out to the ocean through the big glass windows. We frequent Fripp quite often and I use VRBO a lot, your home was one of the best that we've stayed in! Thank you so much!

We all really enjoyed this home. Every aspect of it was comfortable, cozy and “easy living”. We toured Fripp on the golf cart and saw Santa Claus arrive on a firetruck!

We have had so much fun staying in your house- it is so beautiful! We enjoyed sitting on the porch and having breakfast and being able to see the ocean. You house is decorated so beautiful. We can’t wait to come back next year!We rented bikes, went to the beach looking for shells and found a bunch of hermit crabs. Our kids loved Camp Fripp with all the animals.

Your home is beautifully decorated and is very well organized. You thought of everything a family would need for a week trip. I have been coming to this island for 30 years – you have done a fantastic job reinventing this older home. We would definitely stay again

This are the finest accommodations we’ve experienced in many trips to NC, SC and GA beaches! Splendid house, great design and layout for bedrooms. Outstanding furnishings. Everything worked. Many thanks to the owners, the realty company and the cleaning crew. A great week – thanks for sharing your lovely home. We enjoyed many walks on the beach and got free ice cream from Bubbas! Everything was great – loved the house and all the space.

We have stayed in many houses on Fripp and this is our favorite by far. It is so comfortable and easy for several families to stay in without falling all over each other. It is convenient to get to the beach and has good beach all day with tidal pools for the little ones to play in at low tide. The kitchen is well stocked and easy to cook large meals in. Great house!
