A Tanglewood-lover's haven, this is a tiny but elegant and comfortable historic cottage set in the heart of Lenox. Newly renovated and professionally decorated, the house is within walking distance of Tanglewood and Shakespeare & Co., and of course all the galleries, shops, and restaurants for which Lenox is famous. Numerous hiking trails are close by (beautiful Kennedy Park is a short walk away), as are Laurel Lake and Stockbridge Bowl - both with public access for boaters, and sandy beaches for swimmers and sunbathers alike. Winter sports - downhill or cross-country skiing, snowboarding, skating, snowshoeing etc. - are within easy reach. All the attractions of the Berkshires, both North and South County, are just a short drive away.
The kitchen has new maple cabinets, granite countertops and a beautiful cork floor. The bathroom (shower, no tub) is carefully designed for comfort and functionality, with ceramic tile flooring and new fixtures throughout. There is a small fenced and landscaped back yard to contain little people and well-behaved four-legged family members.
