A Tanglewood-lover's haven, this is a tiny but elegant and comfortable historic cottage set in the heart of Lenox. The professionally decorated house is within walking distance of Tanglewood and Shakespeare & Co., and of course all the galleries, shops, and restaurants for which Lenox is famous. Numerous hiking trails are close by (beautiful Kennedy Park is a short walk away), as are Laurel Lake and Stockbridge Bowl - both with public access for boaters, and sandy beaches for swimmers and sunbathers alike. Winter sports - downhill or cross-country skiing, snowboarding, skating, snowshoeing etc. - are within easy reach. All the attractions of the Berkshires, both North and South County, are just a short drive away.
The kitchen has maple cabinets, granite countertops and a beautiful cork floor. The bathroom (shower, no tub) is carefully designed for comfort and functionality, with ceramic tile flooring and new fixtures throughout. There is a small fenced and landscaped back yard to contain little people and well-behaved four-legged family members.

My husband and I spent memorial day weekend in the house which is located in downtown Lenox walking distance to all the shops restaurants parks etc. Also very centrally located to many other of the Berkshire towns in MA and Ct. Great house Very Clean and a pleasure to deal with the owner. Highly recommended.

Had a wonderful time at this sweet little cottage... Immaculate and well-appointed. Great location; parked my car and walked everywhere the entire time - just what I had hoped! Kennedy Park, very nearby, has lovely trails to hike and the cottage is just around the corner from the shops, etc. Will definitely rent again and have rec'd to multiple friends already... All around great experience!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

Imagine the fun of staying in a sweet little cottage, hidden in the very heart of Lenox! All the best shops (love the Purple Plume) and restaurants (Bistro Zinc is my favorite) are in walking distance. Tanglewood and Kripalu Yoga Center (spa services are incredible) are just a few minutes away by car. I've been staying in this little gem for three years now, and we are now planning our fourth visit. I used to live in the Berkshires, and honestly can't think of a more convenient place to stay. The cottage is beautifully furnished, and has a well-appointed kitchen. It's so easy to do business with the cottage owner. I highly recommend this property, and think that if you try it you'll become a regular guest, too.

We stayed in this perfectly decorated cottage over Thanksgiving weekend. It's located in the heart of Lenox, easily walkable to all the stores and restaurants. Such a wonderful and relaxing little cottage. You can't get much better than this. My husband and our two small dogs enjoyed the time we spent here!

We were lucky enough to spend half a week in this charming one-bedroom cottage right in the heart of Lenox this past October. We could walk to everything and the house was charmingly furnished and beautifully updated. Best of all, we were able to take our 4-legged family member with us; the fenced yard was the icing on the cake. We'll be back!

We (2 adults, 1 dog) stay here as often as we can; it's the perfect getaway for a couple right in the heart of Lenox. It's tiny, but exactly as much space as you need for a vacation house. The owner is really nice, which is also a bonus. We just can't say enough--we love it here!!!
