A Tanglewood-lover's haven, this is a tiny but elegant and comfortable historic cottage set in the heart of Lenox. Newly renovated and professionally decorated, the house is within walking distance of Tanglewood and Shakespeare & Co., and of course all the galleries, shops, and restaurants for which Lenox is famous. Numerous hiking trails are close by, as are Laurel Lake and Stockbridge Bowl - both with public access for boaters, and sandy beaches for swimmers and sunbathers alike. All the attractions of the Berkshires, both North and South County are within an easy drive.
The kitchen has new maple cabinets, granite countertops and a beautiful cork floor. The bathroom (shower, no tub) is carefully designed for comfort and functionality, with ceramic tile flooring and new fixtures throughout. There is a small fenced and landscaped back yard to contain little people and well-behaved four-legged family members.
