This beachfront house was built in 2004 in a quiet neighborhood on the north side of Puerto Viejo. The entire interior was recently painted with new ceramic tile on all the floors. Everything in the house is clean and fairly new. The living room has comfortable leather furniture and natural wood coffee and end tables.
The two bedrooms are quiet and at opposite ends of the house for maximum privacy. The master bedroom has a fantastic view of the beach and ocean with a private full bathroom. The other bedroom has a sitting area that looks out to a beautiful garden of exotic trees and plants. The kitchen is well equipped including microwave, full size refrigerator, gas stove with oven and coffee pot for the wonderful Costa Rican coffee.
The beach is just a few steps thru the backyard filled with coconut palm trees and flowering bushes. The house sits in the middle of a large bay with spectacular views in both directions and distant mountains as the backdrop for the view looking inland. You can walk and explore the beach and nearby jungle for hours of tranquility without being disturbed. The new swimming pool is an inviting amenity on a hot Costa Rican afternoon.
If you desire more social interaction with the colorful locals or international travelers, just walk 10 minutes down the beach or road to the center of this small resort town known for its world class surfing and fine but casual restaurants. There you will find about 25 restaurants suitable to a wide variety of taste, grocery stores, pharmacy, internet cafe's, bike and scooter rentals, tour and excursion offices, liquor store, a bank and lots of shopping.
Just added to the house is a 16'x 22' screened in sunroom facing the ocean and beach for many hours of mosquito free enjoyment. Also new, a secure guest storage area for your passport, electronics and other valuables.
Available also is a new beachfront apartment on the same property for two addional people. This apartment is complete with its own kitchen, bath and balcony overlooking the beach. It may be rented together or separate from the main house. The new pool is available to both rentals. We just spent Sept 10-17, 2011 at Casa Fiesta. Our group consisted of 2 couples each celebrating our 25th anniversaries. The bedroom arrangement was great for 2 couples with each bedroom on the opposite end of the house. The screened porch shielded us from night critters and was nice and roomy. The A/C was a wonderful escape from the humidity, too! The pool was great for when you didn't feel like getting in the surf. The property is nicely landscaped and maintained. We enjoyed the security of having the whole property fenced. Our beach was very private; we hardly ever shared it with anyone else. It was quiet and tranquil being just slightly north of town and we really enjoyed that. It's a short walk to town, but a car or bike makes it even easier. Casa Fiesta's caretaker, Susanna, was there to meet us as soon as we arrived, gave us lots of info on Puerto Viejo, and even loaned me a book on the Plants of Costa Rica! We would definitely stay at Casa Fiesta again!

My husband and I just spent a month at Casa Fiesta, and I have to say it was everything we hoped it would be and more! The property managers, Susana and Rene, gave us the privacy we wanted, but were just a phone call (and a few houses) away when we needed anything. The house itself was so comfortable with all the amenities one could want. We spent many afternoons in the pool overlooking the beautiful sea view (when we weren’t actually in the sea!). The location was perfect—peaceful and quiet. We rented bikes for the month and found it to be the perfect way to get around. Town is just a five minute bike ride away, and that’s how we grocery shopped (baskets came on the bikes) and explored. The town itself was quaint and had great grocery stores, banks and restaurants. Our favorite restaurants were The Point, Jeffrey’s and Banana Azul. This was our 4th trip to Costa Rica and our first in Casa Fiesta, and both my husband and I feel we found the perfect “home away from home” and will be back! Last October my husband and I were fortunate enough to stay at Casa Fiesta with two other couples. I can't say enough nice things about this house and the town of Puerto Viejo. Having a pool, a screened in porch and air conditioning when needed (although we tried not to use it much) was an added bonus to what is already a little piece of paradise. The house had everything we needed, and is located far away from town enough to be serene, yet close enough to walk into town within 15 minutes. I would recommend this property to anyohne going to this area, and would love to rent the garage apartment when we are fortunate enough to go back. Pura Vida!!

We stayed at Casa fiesta for only 3 nights and wish we could have been there longer. The house is wonderful and has more than anyone could need. It is an amazing place to relax right on the beach or sit poolside in a lounging chair and listen to the waves. We didn\'t find any bug problem at all in this part of Costa Rica but the screened in porch is still a great place to sit with a morning coffee or evening cocktail. We have stayed all over Costa Rica but found this area amazing and well worth making a trip to see. We will certainly be back and hope we can stay at Casa Fiesta again the next time.

We stayed at Casa Fiesta from 7/25/10 through 8/21/10. Prior to our trip, the owners were very nice to work with and accommodating. We used the recommended private van for transportation from San Jose to the door of the home. The local property managers, Susana and Rene, were absolutely wonderful! Informative, helpful and always available. Every recommendation lived up and/or surpassed expectations. There were 4 in our party and the accommodations worked very well. The location, outside of Pto Viejo but close enough to walk, was a boon as we could access town without being right in the middle of it. The beach was wonderful and we enjoyed our stay much more than our other vacations in other countries when we stayed at more populace condos. This was our first trip to Costa Rica and we will return! Thanks!
