This gorgeous, second-story, beach-front condominium, located in the historic Surf Rider building, is newly renovated, providing every modern convenience, and boasts custom photography from West Coast Fine Art. Enjoy your private getaway with an unobstructed view of the ocean either from inside the unit or from your own private balcony. You may even be fortunate enough to see the dolphins surfing the waves! When you can no longer fight the urge for surf and sun, the beach is literally steps away. If you feel adventurous and want more than a swim, a sunbathe or a volleyball game, then quickly jaunt around the corner to rent surfboards, jet skis, boats and other recreational equipment or some lessons if you're an ocean sport novice!

After your leisurely days at the beach, you may want to hop into the jacuzzi or cook out on one of the two gas BBQ grills on the shared patio. Or, if you feel like holing up in the comfort of your home away from home, cook yourself a gourmet meal with the top of the line appliances in the beautiful kitchen and enjoy it while watching the breathtaking sunset. Afterward, you may wish to curl up and watch a DVD on one of the two plasma flat screen televisions.

If you are interested in seeing more of San Diego than just Mission Beach (although the people watching could entertain you indefinitely!), then your Surf Rider condo places you in the heart of all San Diego has to offer. Belmont Park, the San Diego Zoo, Pacific Beach, Coronado, La Jolla, the USS Midway, the Gaslamp District, Sea World, Torrey Pines Golf Course, the Del Mar Racetrack and La Jolla Cove are all quickly and easily accessible to you, as well as numerous restaurants. After each of your long eventful days, the travertine bathrooms welcome you to wash the sea salt away before nestling into one of the cozy, queen-sized beds or the pull-out couch in order to regain your strength for your next amazing California adventure! Don't forget to bring your own personal soundtrack, which you can listen to on one of the three ipod docking speaker stations inside the unit!

  • The Surfrider condos are magnificent. I have admired them for many years on my travels to San Diego and was finally able to rent a unit. The grounds and units are kept immaculately clean. The master bedroom is amazing with its super comfy bed and ocean view. I felt like a superstar waking up with that view everyday. Simone was wonderful to deal with and was able to accommodate my very last minute inquiry. I am already making plans to return.

  • We LOVED the condo. The location could not have been better. We were the envy of all the people going by on the boardwalk. Very clean and nicely decorated. The ocean view was the best part, of course, but the beds were amazing too. We would definitely go back.

  • Our stay at Surf Rider was great! We feel we couldn't have stayed at a better property. It is in a perfect location with restaurants and rentals close by, along with the beach and ocean, of course! The property is clean and other guests were respectful of everyone staying there.   • Imagine waking up from the a goodnight's sleep listening to the sound of the waves and the first thing you see is the ocean, the sunshine, and maybe a dolphin or 2 jumping in and out of the water. That's what our experience was like at Surf Rider this past week. We just got home last night. We can never go back to staying in a hotel after staying at Surf Rider. The views were magnificent. The location is excellent. We used to live in San Diego and knew the area we wanted to stay at. I jogged on the boardwalk in the morning watching and listening to the waves. Walked to restaurants and dined watching the sunset. It was also fun to watch the surfers. Mission Beach is beautiful, San Diego has so much to do for everyone of all ages and Surfrider is the place to stay. It's an upscale condo, lots of amenities and the Simone and Dominique treat you like you're special guests. We'll be back soon.

Robert, property maintenance, does an excellent job in keeping everything in top condition. We are looking forward to returning in the near future.

  • We just finished our stay at the Surf Rider and had an amazing time. Simone was extremely professional and efficient in the upfront rental dealings and we could not have asked for a better place. View was phenomenal, condo very well equipped, and the property amenities (hot tub) and proximity to ocean/boardwalk were perfect. We would highly recommend staying here and are already looking forward to our next visit!

  • We all had a brilliant time - so good we stayed an extra night (thank you Dominique). Excellent situation, great for teenagers (we have 2), and a good cameraderie with guests staying in the other apartments. The worst part is having to pack to leave!
