If you feel adventurous and want more than a swim, a sunbathe or a volleyball game, then quickly jaunt around the corner to rent surfboards, jet skis, boats and other recreational equipment or some lessons if you're an ocean sport novice!
After your leisurely days at the beach, you may want to hop into the jacuzzi or cook out on one of the two gas BBQ grills on the shared patio. Or, if you feel like holing up in the comfort of your home away from home, cook yourself a gourmet meal with the top of the line appliances in the beautiful kitchen and enjoy it while watching the breathtaking sunset. Afterward, you may wish to curl up and watch a DVD on one of the two plasma flat screen televisions.
If you are interested in seeing more of San Diego than just Mission Beach (although the people watching could entertain you indefinitely!), then your Surf Rider condo places you in the heart of all San Diego has to offer. Belmont Park, the San Diego Zoo, Pacific Beach, Coronado, La Jolla, the USS Midway, the Gaslamp District, Sea World, Torrey Pines Golf Course, the Del Mar Racetrack and La Jolla Cove are all quickly and easily accessible to you, as well as numerous restaurants. After each of your long eventful days, the travertine bathrooms welcome you to wash the sea salt away before nestling into one of the cozy, queen-sized beds or the pull-out couch in order to regain your strength for your next amazing California adventure! Don't forget to bring your own personal soundtrack, which you can listen to on one of the three ipod docking speaker stations inside the unit!

What a great stay! Dominique and Simone were so professional and friendly and made the whole process a snap. The condo was right on the boardwalk and there were amazing water and sunset views from the living area and master bedroom. The location is great since you are close to everything, but it was still nice and quiet. We will definitely be back!

We stayed at the Surfrider Condo F for little under a week. The B Sisters were very helpful in making our reservation, taking the payment and ensuring that we could get into the rental without issue. The information on the listing is very accurate. The condo is right on the beach, we had a great view of the sunset over the ocean. We visited at the end of September so Mission Beach was still warm but not very crowded. You can walk to the shops and Belmont Park. We did not go to any San Diego attractions, instead we hung around the beach. The unit has a second story patio as well as access to the hot tub and patio right on the beach. We were there for the red tide, which was cool to watch at night. And we could see dolphins from the balcony. The condo is in great shape, everything is new. It has a full kitchen, with lots of pans and appliances. There was also a shared grill which we used, tools were included. The condo was very cost effective, we estimate that our group of four saved about $150 a day by using the kitchen instead of eating out three meals a day. Being on the second floor, it was more private but might impact people who have trouble climbing stairs. Recycling is available. The condo comes with one parking space but we found a second one close by. There is a TV with theater sound for night time entertainment. It comes with a DVR so you can record your soaps while you are on the beach. There is a sofa bed but we did not use it, the instruction book tells you how to get the linens. Finally, we liked the no smoking, no pets policy for the condo. We enjoyed our visit here. The worst part was leaving.

This property is wonderful, central to just about everything to do in San Diego. 15' to the beach, we walked every morning before taking the kids to Sea World, SD Zoo, Wild Animal Park, La Jolla Cove, Chula Vista Nature Center, etc.. The condo was comfortable and safe. Most importantly, the sisters who manage this property are great and easy to deal with. When we arrived, the fridge was not working. Dominique called before I could contact her and said she was working on it. She got us a small fridge to tide us over and spent a significant amount of her time at the condo to make sure it was fixed promptly. She worked around our schedule and was never intrusive. We highly recommend this property!

The Surfrider condos are magnificent. I have admired them for many years on my travels to San Diego and was finally able to rent a unit. The grounds and units are kept immaculately clean. The master bedroom is amazing with its super comfy bed and ocean view. I felt like a superstar waking up with that view everyday. Simone was wonderful to deal with and was able to accommodate my very last minute inquiry. I am already making plans to return.

We LOVED the condo. The location could not have been better. We were the envy of all the people going by on the boardwalk. Very clean and nicely decorated. The ocean view was the best part, of course, but the beds were amazing too. We would definitely go back.

Our stay at Surf Rider was great! We feel we couldn't have stayed at a better property. It is in a perfect location with restaurants and rentals close by, along with the beach and ocean, of course! The property is clean and other guests were respectful of everyone staying there. We would definitely come back again! Thank you Dominique and Simone!
