  This home is so much more than the pictures are able to reveal. The living areas are large and very comfortable, the kitchen and dining area open and well stocked, and the bedrooms/bathrooms immaculate! The split floorplan is great for extended or combined families. The location is excellant! You are literally steps from the ocean and Coligny, which offers shopping, grocery, restaurants, and entertainment. The owners are great to work with and I will definitely recommend this home to family and friends.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

  We rented this house for a family reunion for my husband's birthday. We had a house full and everyone was very comfortable in the home. We all loved the location -- proximity to beach, groceries, restaurants, etc. We are definitely planning to get the group together again at this house! We had 14 people in this house, very comfortably.

Since it is so close to the beach and Coligny Center, you really don't need a car to enjoy a wonderful week. The natural separation with the two wings gives everyone the space they need and the two large living areas provide plenty of space to gather.

  My kids said this was their favorite vacation ever and we have been coming to Hilton Head for over 20 years. The house was large and comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We had twelve people staying and never felt crowded. We loved the easy walk to Coligny and to the beach. There were plenty of bathrooms and the garage was large and had plenty of storage space for beach chairs, umbrellas, ... Thanks for the precious memories!

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

  Owner response: This is a wonderful home for families. With two separate living areas and two "wings" to the home, each with three bedrooms. Due to the very close proximity to the Coligny Shopping Center and the beach, most guests will not need to drive anywhere during their stay.

  This was the perfect house for our large family. We come every year at Thanksgiving and this house was by far the best we have stayed in over the years. Convenient to the beach, shopping and dining. We hardly had to use our car. Thanks for a great time!

  We had an extended family gathering here for our aunt's funeral - really a celebration of her long 92 year life. Being able to spend time together in this great house was wonderful. Everyone was so pleased with the accommodations, spaciousness, location and quality. Being so close to the beach was a real plus....even in February. Coming from all over the country, we enjoyed congregating in the beautiful kitchen / family room areas, and then being able to retreat to privacy in the numerous bedrooms. It was our own personal Bed and Breakfast! Thank you, Todd.

  19 Avocet was a great home for our family holiday vacation. The separate bedroom wing arrangement was wonderful for multiple families, and the location could not be more convenient. Quick stroll to the beach and Coligny Plaza. We have rented homes in the Outer Banks and many locations in FL, and this was one of our favorites. The owners were very easy to work with and agreeable to our requests. We would definitely recommend this home!

  What a great house for vacationing in Hilton Head with family! The pictures do not do it justice. The location was wonderful as it was extremely close to the ocean and equally close to Coligny Plaza where there is grocery shopping, a fresh bakery, hardward store, ice cream shop, restaurants, internet cafes and plenty of shops. Would definitely like to return to this lovely home as would my children and grandchildren.

  What a Beautiful house and excellant location to Coligny Plaza (Ice cream shop) and the beach. The pool, Movie room and large open kitchen was wonderful for our large family vacation. The pictures do not do this house justice.

  Fantastic home and location.Best value of price to quality to enjoyment. Owners provide great service. Go left 100 yards to ocean. Go right 100 yards to Coligny Plaza. Lots of activity but very quiet.
