Do you feel like getting out of the city and back to nature, leave your cell phone behind and explore the great outdoors or sit by the fire and listen to the creek?

If so, we welcome you at the cozy 1920s "Little Log Cabin", perfectly situated in downtown Nederland, an old western town located at just over 8,230 feet in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. "The Little Log Cabin" sits right on the Boulder Creek (see photo) within walking distance from all the downtown fun, ten minutes from Eldora Ski Area, 15 minutes from the Peak to Peak Highway and just a few minutes drive from all the trail heads that take you up to the most remote areas of the Rocky Mountain paradise. It is a perfect place for all of you who love the great outdoors - hiking, biking, climbing and much more. (we can even arrange a private guide for you for secluded day hikes) and at the end of the day enjoy great food and cool live music in old downtown Nederland or a good glass of wine by the fire. Skiing at Eldora Mountain is available throughout April depending on snow conditions.

The "Little Log Cabin" is ideal for a couple or a single and we welcome well behaved dogs. Inside the cabin you will find all you need to make yourself comfortable and keep yourself warm - a gas wood stove, a fully equipped kitchen, French doors opening onto the deck overlooking the Boulder Creek, full size, pull out futon bed that comfortably sleeps two and for those of us who just have to have it- wireless internet. The interior of the cabin is decorated with arts and crafts from various parts of Asia; Bhutan, Japan, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand. The cabin was recently completely renovated and now features wood floors, a custom built kitchen, brand new furniture and a barbeque grill on the deck.

  • This cabin is perfect if your needing to escape the busyness of life or just wanting a place in the great city of Nederland. Though small, the cabin offers an atmosphere (not to mention a creek that runs outside) that allows you to see the true importance of the smaller things in life. I am already planning my next trip to this cabin and hope to plan many each year.

  • We enjoyed the cozy little cabin! The kitchen, though small, was well-appointed for most cooking needs. A gas grill on the porch provided a substitue oven. The roaring stream insulated us from traffic noises, and our sleep was undisturbed. We could walk to town, and enjoyed the easy access for trout fishing. Our hostess, Monique, came by almost every day, and saw to it that our questions were answered! We are looking forward to our next visit. Joe and Molly
