Great house and base for Ireland

We have stayed at this lovely property in Mullaghbawn a number of times in the past few years. The house is very spacious and well maintained with all you'd need for a holiday. We've arrived late on a couple of occasions and had no problems in getting the key. The local shops and pub (5 minute walk) are more than adequate and Newry is close by for bigger stores. This is a great base for exploring Ireland with Belfast, Mountains of Mourne, Silent Valley and local national parks (Castlewellan, Tollymore) all nearby and worth a visit. Trips further afield are possible within a day and there is now good access to Dublin and the South nearby, (the journey to Dublin port being an hour and Belfast and Dublin airports less than this). Mullaghbawn is a very friendly community and is set in a beautiful location.

Fantastic house, very nice view, we were with 4 adults and 3 kids its a big house. Close to Dublin and Belfast, Every morning we walked to the Spar supermarket (2 min) to pick up a full warm breakfast, just call them op your coming, and it will be ready when you come,even possible for diner. Their service is fantastic and there very friendly. We definitaly go back to Mullaghbawn

The home was lovely and everything about it was as stated on the website. Picturesque, quiet, and very spacious. I definitely will come back.
