The Carriage House is located between 5th and 6th Streets in the historic area of downtown Traverse City. This quaint neighborhood of classic Victorian houses is just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, a gourmet grocery, bakeries, specialty shops, farmer's market, Cherry Fest, Film Fest, etc. The property was completely renovated in 2007.
The house is two stories with WiFi, cable TV, central heating and air conditioning. Each floor can control its own temperature with separate thermostats. The two car attached garage has automatic doors with door openers provided. A privacy fence surrounds a pleasant backyard with patio, gas grill and patio furniture. The yard features two huge trees, flower gardens and lawn. Please enjoy the hardwood and slate floors, new bathrooms, kitchen, appliances and furnishings.
The large living room includes a 52" plasma TV with DVD player. It has a beautiful slate fireplace with a remote controlled realistic fire feature. The kitchen is equipped with new dishes, silverware, utensils, pots and pans, coffee maker, microwave, toaster oven, dishwasher, disposal, refrigerator with ice maker, stove, etc.
The first floor bedroom has a sitting area with another flat screen TV and DVD/VCR player. Also located on the first floor is one of the two bathrooms and a utility room with new full-size washer and dryer, ironing board and iron and large utility sink. All linens, towels, kitchen and laundry detergents are provided. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and liquid hand soap is available in each bathroom. A full-time caretaker will check you in and be on-call.
