Peaceful Mountain Getaway, 7th Night is Free, Best Value

Year Purchased: 2006

Why the Owner Chose Duck Creek Village

We used to live in Cedar City and loved to get away to the Duck Creek area. We were missing the change of seasons since our move to Nevada and wanted to find somewhere to get away from the heat of Las Vegas and the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We rented cabins while we were looking and thought how nice it was for someone to open up there cabin to others so they could enjoy a peaceful getaway without the maintenance and responsibility that goes with it and yes, it helps pay the mortgage.
So we thank you for helping us keep the cabin available to those who just need somewhere to get away whether it be a weekend or week.

THANK YOU!!!

The Unique Benefits at this Cabin

Since we are located outside of Duck Creek you are far enough away to enjoy a more quiet atmosphere but close enough that if you need something it is a quick trip to Duck Creek or Todd's Junction at the corner of sr14/hwy89. We have a private community pond that is stocked a couple times during the summer.

    • We really weren't expecting much at all before we arrived at the cabin. After we got there we were extremely excited and happy with our entire stay at the cabin. The cabin is much more spacious and much more comfortable than the pictures depict. We had a wonderful time playing in the 5 feet of snow and playing games in the family room at night. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during our vacation.

    • We visited the cabin in January 2009 and had a blast. There were 10 adults in our group and had plenty of room. The cabin was well stocked. We all appreciated the maps and local info, it came in handy when we went to Brian Head, which was not that far away. Thank you very much and we all agreed to come back every year if not more.

    • Our family stayed in the cabin for 5 days in July. We couldn't have been happier. The cabin is beautifully furnished, very comfortable and has everything you need for a great vacation. Lots of wildlife around, great ATV riding trails, fishing etc. The owners provided maps and books about the local area and points of interest. Our three kids did not want to leave. Thank you Larry and Terece for opening your cabin! The Pitaro/Roberto Family from Fabulous Las Vegas

    • We stayed in this cabin over the summer for 4 days. It was comfortably outfitted, clean and close to all the things we wanted to do while in the Duck Creek/Panguitch area. There was satellite TV and a big selection of DVD's to watch in the evenings. Many deer and other creatures were out and about in the morning and at night, which added to the experience. The bbq was out of propane when we got there, and it was chained down so we couldn't refill it. I'm sure it was an oversight on the owners part as it was one of the first times they had ever rented their cabin out this way. The owners were extremely pleasant and easy to deal with. The upstairs loft would hold a gazillion kids if you had them!!! Overall, it was a great rental experience.

    • We stayed at this cabin in early August, 2007. This is a great cabin in a beautiful setting. The cabin is comfortably furnished and very spacious. The owners are very nice and a pleasure to rent from. There are lots of forest creatures that venture by. I would definitely stay here again.
