Situated 1 1/2 blocks from McKinney Shores Homeowners Association private beach, pier, BBQ and personal buoy, and 1 1/2 blocks from Homewood Mountain Resort, our 2400 square foot home with hot tub(Summer & Christmas through mid April) is the perfect location for your getaway to Lake Tahoe.
From our home there is no need to drive anywhere. Walk or take the shuttle bus that loops by every 10 minutes to the ski area. Ride your bike, skate, run or walk along the well maintained Lake Tahoe bike path that boarders the property. A boat launch, grocery store, bicycle/ski/snowboard rental shop, and restaurants are also within walking distance.
With five bedrooms, two dining areas, a family room with a fireplace, a living room with a wood stove, and a 2 car garage with additional off street parking, this home offers more than enough space for two families to share a vacation and make lots of fun memories together.

Why the Owner Chose Homewood
We chose to buy this home because of its perfect location for skiing with a young family. It is also in the McKinney Shores Homeowners which allows us shared private access to the beach. This is a large home which can easily accommodate two families at one time. We like to have friends come up and stay with us and enjoy beautiful Lake Tahoe.
Homewood Ski Area has two access points, the North Side and the South Side. The South Side is located at the Top of Tahoe Ski Bowl Way which is just one and a half blocks from our home.
Rental of our home allows you to have access to our shared private beach access at the McKinney Shores Homeowners Beach Area. The beach is just a short 1 1/2 block walk. If you choose to drive, parkin

Obexer's offers a small market/deli and is open year round. Obexer's also has a public boat launch for a fee.
