Our home features four large, light-filled bedrooms, four bathrooms, a propane fireplace, a wonderful gourmet kitchen, top-of-the-line furnishings and linens, full length oceanside deck and patio complete with all outdoor furniture to enjoy the waterfront. There is a community dock adjacent and ocean cove swimming as well.
Within minutes, the Village of Chester offers fine restaurants, shopping, community theatre, yachting, lovely walking areas, and a generally great location to enjoy the waters of the Mahone Bay. We live in a very private community called Westchester Village, on a secluded lot set directly on Sandy Cove in the Mahone Bay.
The house is a completely rebuilt Cape Cod, featuring great ocean views, lovely outdoor and indoor living areas, an attached garage, walk-out lower floor, warm, wide-boarded wood floors, and complete privacy. There is a new, full, gourmet kitchen (with a pantry), a powder room, formal dining room, living room with propane fireplace, office, and a cathedral ceilinged entry way on the main floor.
The lower floor has two queen guest bedrooms overlooking the ocean, a full bath, utility room, and a huge family room with an entertainment centre.
Upstairs are a guest bedroom with twin beds, a powder room, and a full master suite with laundry, Jacuzzi, and walk out deck. With lots of windows, this house has a great airy feel to it from every point.
The South Shore of Nova Scotia has everything to offer - the UNESCO heritage town of Lunenburg, the beauty of the Village of Mahone Bay, commercial centre of Bridgewater, Tourist Village of Chester, numerous golf courses, lots of yachting opportunities, great restaurants, community theatres, craft centres, museums, good shopping, and just lots to do and see.
Located just 45 minutes from the city of Halifax and international airport, 2 1/2 hours from the international Ferry Terminal in Yarmouth, and just 45 minutes from the Annapolis Vally of Nova Scotia it is an easy location to access by land sea, air, or rail.
