Hi Bev!! Thank you again for the use of your cabin this weekend! We had a great time and the weather was awesome! It got 'warm' or maybe I should say HOT (91*) but it was wonderful! Hope you are both well and enjoying your summer! Your friends in CT - Lisa & Jay P.S. When is the earliest that we can book for next July?

My daughter loved this place so much she did not want to leave. It is cozy and clean and has everything you need, from dishes to cookware and movies to puzzles. Ww enjoyed the beaches on the lake and just sitting on the screened-in porch watching the sun set in the evenings. There was so much to do in the area that we could not get to everything. The owners are easy to deal with and gracious. We definitely plan to rent from them again.
Owner response:Thank you for the nice comment Rochelle, We are glad you both enjoyed your stay.

Hi Beverly, We just got back home today. We had a great time in your cottage. We found some fans and they worked fine pulling the cool night air off the lake. It was our first time in the area and we will be back. I will keep your number for future reference. Thank you for a lovely rental cottage. We left the place in tip top shape and bought and intentionally left two towels that could be used in the cottage for future renters. Let me know if there are any problems preventing the return of my deposit. Thanks again! Dr. Jim

Hi, Beverly, Just wanted to say thank you very much for a chance to stay at your place. We and our relatives from New Jersey enjoyed everything: charming Webster Lake, amazing hike to Lonesome Lake in Franconia Notch, trip to the "Castle in the clouds", beautiful weather and, of course, your cozy cottage. Our 7-month daughter swam in the lake for the first time in her life and she enjoyed it a lot. We already started to dream about our next visit to Webster Lake. Thank you once more, Mikhail, Anna and little Sarah-Freida.

We had a nice peaceful and quiet week. Lost power for half hour during a storm but every thing else was great. i did a lot of fishing while Ruthie did a lot of reading and relaxing. The cottage had every thing we needed and we enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much; Bill & Ruthie

Hi Beverly, We want to thank you for a great stay. The cottage was like staying at my grandmother's house. It was relaxing, unpretentious, and cozy. It reminded us of a simpler time and that was exactly the kind of vacation experience we wanted our children to have. We swam all day in the serene lake, played board games and read books at night in the screened in porch! It was terrific. My kids enjoyed following a mother loon and her baby around the lake in our boat and were so excited to hear the calls of the loon pair to each other. Thank you so much for everything. We had so much fun during our weekend getaway at your cabin. What a great little community and beautiful area! We even got to hike Belknap Mountain (Mt. Major trail was slammed with too many hikers for us) and discovered what a great trail that is. The cabin was perfect, and the woodstove kept us nice and toasty, even when it was quite chilly outside.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this quiet camp near Webster Lake in late July. It's a great central location to see New Hampshire and Vermont, and was stocked with everything we needed. We arrived from a flight into Boston, so we found nearby Hannaford groceries and Belknap Mall to stock the fridge and make up for what we couldn't carry on the plane. We stayed in a modern hotel after leaving Franklin and were sorry we hadn't extended our stay at this cozy cottage instead.

We made it home but none of us wanted to leave! We had a great time at the cottage and I couldn't believe how quiet, clean, and peaceful the lake was! We were very surprised that there wasn't more people there swimming and fishing. We did the dinner and a movie thing and absolutely loved that as well!! Thanks for everything.

We had a WONDERFUL time. The weather was great. The lake was just great not too deep for the kids so I didn't have to worry about them. We did some fishing and swimming and my daugther beat me at reading. She finished her book first. All and all it was perfect and we'd like to return again next year. Also I forgot to mention how beautiful the sunsets were over the lake...Absolutely breath taking. I'll be in touch in January for our next vacation Pauline

This is a great cottage! very private and quite. Short walk to the dock where our kids swam and fished daily. The dock area is pretty shallow and very kid friendly. Close to alot of attractions. We visited Ruggles Mine, Polar Caves, and the Planetatium. We will be back next year!

This was a wonderful place for the two of us and our young active dog...a great big yard and lots of trees...private as can be and a short walk to the lake. You can see the lake from the screened porch. The place is very comfortable and away from the tourist crowds. Within a 45 minute drive to the mountain region where we went hiking every day of our stay. Thanks

We stayed at this cottage in mid-August. We were very pleasantly surprised at how peaceful the lake was - most of the boats were wind or human-powered, with only the very occasional jet-ski. In our experience, fishing was fun for kids. Swimming is very safe. On a couple of calm days the surface was literally a mirror. The cottage was quiet, comfortable, & has a large yard to run around in. it's about a minute's walk to the private jetty. The owner responded to our questions quickly, & gave us good advice about the area.

I want to thank you for the cottage-you were right about the Pines and the area is absolutely beautiful-we spent 99% of our time in the water or on our boat. We did take one day trip to Ruggles Mine where the boys had fun hammering away for gems. There were a lot of firsts there-my granddaughter has autistic tendencies and she was talking and swimming up a storm and even felt secure enough to ride in the boat-the youngest grandson overcame his fear of water and ended up learning how to swim he also became an expert at riding his bike. The oldest grandson learned that winning wasn't everything-having a good time playing board games was more important-we took walks every evening-played games at night and we all read at least one book while we were there-all in all I have to say we had one fantastic time and this vacation did exactly what we wanted-built a lasting memory for our children and grandchildren that no one will ever forget-thank you again for a wonderful week at the Lake...
