4 Bedroom, 2 1/2 bath Colonial house on over 2 acres.
1st floor has Living room with Fireplace. 1/2 bath with washer and dryer. The family room with cathedral ceilings has a large TV, DVD/VCR/CD player for movie viewing (great children's video collection available upon request). Sliding glass doors opens to a private deck with patio furniture and a beautiful, expansive lawn and yard (hammock under a shady tree). Perfect for children and outdoor activities.
The kitchen with breakfast table, is fully equipped and opens into dining and family room. Front porch portico has table and two chairs and lovely morning light.
2nd floor has Master Bedroom with Queen size bed and private full bath tub. 3 additional bed rooms; 1 w/queen, and 1 w/2 twin beds share a comfortable bath with shower.
Walking distance to Lake Mansfield and town beach (lifeguard present). A short walk brings you to the center of Great Barrington with it's many boutiques, great restaurants, Joan Ackerman's Theater and the Triplex movie theater (4 screens).
A scenic drive of 20 minutes will take you to Tanglewood, Jacobs Pillow, The Berkshire Playhouse, Shakespeare & Co., The Norman Rockwell Museum, golf courses, shopping, hiking, canoing and swimming. 7 minutes from the Appalachian Trail for hiking and summer fun. Bash Bish Falls is nearby. Yoga and Spa facilities right in town and at nearby Kripalu and Canyon Ranch.
