My wife and I have three boys, we love the water and boating. We enjoy relaxing in our vacation home and take pleasure riding our tandem bike (bicycle built for two) attached is a photo of our ride out to Ponce Park overlooking the harbor.

My wife and I fell in love with the area and the neighborhood. We purchased the home for our eventual retirement very quiet and relaxing. Morning walks or bike rides, good restaurants and shopping close by, we leave our vacation home stress free and refreshed.

My family and I stayed Chrismas week 2010,,what a beautiful home,very inviting. great time in the pool ,,and on the dock watching the sunset..Everything is there,,bring clothes and food!!! ,,Went to the beaches,collected many shells,,Punta Gorda was Beautiful,,many small shops ,,places to walk near the harbor.. Ate in most of the time,,Carrabbas Italian Grill in Port Charlotte Five Stars ,,Sharkys in Venice also Five Stars ,,Great sunset,,, It could have been warmer ,,but we can not control that!!!!! Can not wait to go back !!!!!!

The house is beautiful, spacious, very clean and very inviting. Everything is there; you just bring your clothes. The grandkids loved the pool, fished off the dock (actually caught fish), loved watching the boats go by and waving to everyone. The sunsets are absolutely magnificent. We loved dining at Fisherman's Village and the quaint outdoor coffee houses with local talent (guitarists and singers). The Florida beaches are unlike any we've ever seen. We are seriously looking to purchase our retirement home in Punta Gorda. GO! You'll love it."

My family and I stayed in this very well designed home for a total of 7 days. Just when you walk thruogh the front doorof the house, you already will get a great vibe that your gonna have a blast. Then when you open the blinds and see the ausome view of other homes/boats on the canal (Breathtaking). The sunset is to die for. My 3 children had a great time in the pool and fishing of the dock.(Caught many catfish). We planned some day trips to beaches and water parks that were very easily accesable. We dinned at local rest. in Punta that were very nice. We definately enjoyed Punta Gorda, and can not wait to return!!
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.
