Our house is centrally located in the Historic District of Monte Vista. In a short walk around the block, you will find you are surrounded by century old eclectic houses ranging from small cottages to multimillion dollar mansions. You are about 6 blocks away from Trinity University and 1 mile to Downtown from Main Street.
Mexican and Italian restaurants, an ice cream shop, a bakery and designer shops are within 3 blocks. The grocery store is just 1 mile away. There is easy access to US-281, I-10 and I-35, which can get you anywhere in the city quickly.
The one story 2013 sq ft house was build in 1924 and has a detached 2 car garage with side storage area. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. One bath has a tub with shower, and the other has a large walk-in shower tiled in blue glass...it's like taking a shower in the ocean. All linens are included.
The kitchen has granite countertops, a commercial range/stove and a custom triple bowl-2 faucet sink. There is a refrigerator with ice and water dispener, a dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, pots/pans, silverware, dishes, and glasses.
There is a sunroom in front of the house that looks out to the yard and street. It is great for your morning coffee and wireless computing. The back yard has a bricked patio for dining on the picnic table or relaxing on the lawn chairs.
Note: If you are planning a keg party please look somewhere else. This is a residential working neighborhood not South Padre Island or the River Walk. We ask that you please respect the peace and quiet of the neighborhood at night.

My girlfriends and I (5 of us total) spent the Labor Day Weekend 2012 at this beautiful home to celebrate our 50th birthdays! The house was so wonderful, we didn't even want to leave to go to the Riverwalk! Thanks to David and Vicki for a wonderfully maintained home and the ease of doing business with them. Definitely want to return soon with my family!

We stayed for almost 2 weeks , we had 4 adults and 2 small dogs. We were so comfortable and really enjoyed the neighborhood. We walked in the neighnborhood and felt right at home. The house in beautifully renovated and we really enjoyed cooking in the well stocked kitchen. The home is very close to Brackenridge park and all the downtown sites. We can't wait to visit again!

We visited San Antonio for a basic training graduation at Lackland AFB. Our group consisted of 4 adults and 2 children. The accommodations were absolutely perfect for our needs and the owners even provided a Pack N Play and highchair for the baby. It was so nice to be able to provide this comfortable space for our Airman son and his family. If we get back to the San Antonio area, we will definitely stay at this property again. My family and I stayed a couple of days last week and it was an extremely beautiful property...lots of character and charm. There was plenty of room for 6 adults and you did not feel cramped. We had a great stay at this home in May 2011. The home was nicely kept, well stocked, and easy to find. It had vintage charm with modern amenities, and we were pleasantly surprised that the location was so convenient to everything (a very quick drive from the airport and into downtown). The owner was also very easy to coordinate with. We would definitely stay here again.

Loved the decor, the pictures don't do it justice. This is a very well maintained older-style home and if we could have packed it in our bags and taken it with us, we would have! The neighborhood is very peaceful, with a local coffee shop at the end of the street, and everyone we met there and in the neighborhood was very friendly. There's an Italian restaurant a couple of minutes away that was also very good. Getting to downtown and all the sights was very easy, just a few minutes on the local streets (you can jump on the interstate if you want but it's not wort the hassle as it's only one exit down). We'd definitely stay at this house again the next time we go to San Antonio!

We stayed for only a couple of days in this wonderful house and it was perfect. perfect accommodations and perfect location. The house was wonderfully appointed and the beds were comfortable. The location is great nicely central but not touristy. You can get to the tourist sites anywhere in the city really easily and it's close to a good coffee shop with breakfast burritos, pastries and good coffee. It's more expensive than a Holiday Inn out on the loop but much less expensive than the hotels downtown when you consider it's a three bedroom, with living room, dining room, sun porch, a nice kitchen and a nice comfortable neighborhood to walk around in the evening or morning.

My family and I stayed at this wonderful home for a week during Christmas. They even had a Christmas tree so we felt right at home. The location of the house is perfect! Just a quick ride into the river walk and convenient to everywhere else! The house is stunning and was super clean! It has everything and anything you could want or need. The beds were so comfortable, we all had great nights sleep! The neighborhood is very nice with a lot of other beautiful homes to marvel over too. We would highly recommend anyone to come stay here. A+

We loved the place. Great location. 10 mins. drive from Riverwalk and Quarry. Zoo 5 mins.away. easy excess to Hwy. 281. The houe was nice and roomy. We had 8 adults plenty of room. Love the kitchen and the front nook off the living room was great for breakfast. Only down side for the summer no pool but great backyard area for grilling.
