Exterior of Cabin Home - Big Canoe Vacation Rental BIG CANOE is an 8,000-acre gated and guarded mountain community known as the premier mountain getaway in the Southeast. First Class in every aspect with 27 holes of Championship Golf, a State of the Art Health Club, three lakes, miles of hiking and Jeep trails. There is also a playground, baseball field, basketball court, and a dog park. The outdoor pool is terrific, not to mention the lake for swimming or paddle boating, and even a rock slide! You can even rent a pontoon boat or canoe to go boating on Lake Petit. Other activities available include tennis, racquetball, a day spa, and fishing. There really is so much to do at Big Canoe! Our home is a magically relaxing three-level, exposed beam home located in a beautiful mountain setting. You can stay in and recharge your batteries or go out and enjoy everything Big Canoe has to offer. Located only five minutes from boating, golf, tennis, swimming pool, hiking, health club/spa, and restaurants... there is plenty to do. Or just sit on the porch and watch the deer, wild turkeys, and sometimes even a bear or two. Our beautiful home is on a huge lot with three bedrooms, one on each level. Two of the rooms have queen-sized beds and the upper level has two twin beds. In addition, there is a pullout sofa in the loft on the upper level. We recently did a complete kitchen renovation, and our new beautiful kitchen is stocked and ready for you! Create a feast in the kitchen, on the gas grill on the porch, or even go out to dinner at one of the restaurants nearby. Inside Big Canoe you have the choice of Piazza an Italian restaurant or Lake Sconti Grill. Outside of the gates you have a few more dining options too. The living room boasts a gorgeous stacked stone fireplace and large TV (with cable), DVD and CD/Radio. Enjoy spending your time watching one of the videos in our video library or playing one of the many board games! Or challenge someone to a game of air hockey or darts in the Game Room/Loft upstairs. We offer a 10% discount for repeat renters.
