This house has everything you will need to relax, rewind, and just veg out. Our family enjoyed every minute we had cooking, sun bathing, enjoying the view and dinning at the awesome cafe on Del Mar Street.

Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We rented this home in May 2010---for a family get together---we were getting married and flew our kids and their wives from Canada to California for the event. This is no doubt a beautiful home with every possible amenity you could ask for--there were 12 of us--and there was plenty of room to do what we wanted in the house without being crowded. It was great for a few large family dinners with the huge kitchen and dining room. Outside--great nights by the gas fireplace overlooking the ocean. House--Perfect--Location??? not so sure. Unfortunatley--the owner does not advertise the fact that just below that picture of the house--literally--less than 100 feet from the house---a Commuter Train runs through everyday to San Diego--beginnig at around 5--5:30am-- and the Train operator blows his horn just before he gets to the house--which will bolt you out of bed--especially if you are sleeping in the bedrooms at the front of the house.--To make things worse--it happens about every 20-30 minutes for a few hours. It slows down later in the morning---but continues all day--and even in to the night---once --even at 12:30am-- you have peace--between then and 5am--so enjoy your sleep So---if you like your sleep---this is not the place---if you like to get up early anyway and walk the beach---then it won't bother you at all----we like to sleep in to at least 7am----so having a train whistle waking us up every morning--was an issue--you are supposed to be on vacation Besides that--this is an awesome house.

Recommended for:Sightseeing, families with young children.

What a great place. Loads of space and comfort. Very easy, thorough check-in and check-out. The place is just as photos show - beautiful, clean and well mantained. We've been going to San Clemente for 20 summers and the stay in this house has made it our most favorite one! We loved that each bedroom had it's own bathroom and there was a downstairs space to send the teenagers! Upon arriving home from our trip, I sent a request to rent it again for the next summer.

Recommended for:Tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with teenagers.

we had the awesome pleasure of staying at this house from 7/6/08 7/13/08 we were celebrating my parents 50th wedding anniversary and could not have found a better location. the house is amazing, each bedroom upstairs has it's bathroom, the master suite is out of this world beautiful with the balcony it was a favorite evening hangout to watch the sunsets. i would highly recommend this house to any large family looking for a great place to stay.
