Hale Makai is a custom home located on the beautiful sunny side of the island It's very private, quaint and comfortable.
As you enter through the Lanai, you will know you made the right choice for your perfect vacation accommodations. The living area has ample seating for all our guests. Our gourmet kitchen is fully equipped for your convenience. With the luxury of both ceiling fans and air conditioning, the rooms are quite comfortable no matter what the temperature is outside. The bedrooms are furnished with comfort in mind and include plenty of space for you to make yourself at home. Just a short walk across the street you will find a secluded black sand beach, and minutes down the road are miles of white sandy beaches. After a long day of beach and exploring the island, nothing feels better than a dip in our private jacuzzi, relax and enjoy! We've provided a laundry room well equiped with anything you may need during your stay. With all this and endless choices for activities near by you will find the West side of Kauai to be the destination of choice. We hope you enjoy your stay as our guest.

10/24/07 "Today is good-bye from island time back to real time. Visiting the island four or five times yearly-this was my first time staying on the west shore, but it won't be the last time. We spent a few afternoons at the Salt Pond area. Miles of sight seeing. It was so nice to return "home" each evening to the ***** cottage! This wonderful vacation rental should be featured on HGTV!!!
