You are invited to stay in a historical 1930's, redwood bungalow, surrounded by redwood decking and shady pepper and eucalyptus trees. When you walk through the front door, the easy going charm of the Old West fills the senses. The rich smell of fine leathers, the feel of hammered iron and rough hewn lumber, the sight of brightly painted western scenes conjures up the nostalgic feelings of wonderful evenings by the old campfires and the days of simple pleasures.

This home has recently been lovingly remodeled keeping the exterior rustic charm, but bringing the inside décor up to the current standards for a restful worry free vacation with all the necessary amenities.
This two bedroom home is the perfect getaway for vacations, honeymoons, photo shoots, and wedding receptions.

Just off the kitchen, and surrounding the home is a large private deck, and a large lawn perfect for barbecuing and entertaining. The best part of the property is the old "Bunkhouse" located in the back of the property, complete with a tin roof and french doors. A perfect getaway spot.

The town of Los Olivos was originally a stagecoach and railroad town, but is now known for its fine art galleries, wine tasting rooms, and exquisite restaurants. Los Olivos was recently made famous as the setting for the movie "Sideways" which highlighted just a little touch of the charm of this town.
Located just 2 hours north of Los Angeles, 35 minutes from Santa Barbara, 5 minutes from the Danish village of Solvang, 5 minutes from the Western Town of Santa Ynez, and a short drive to all the Central Coast Wineries.
The climate is mild year round and invites outdoor recreation of every kind.There are several 18 hole championship golf courses, horsebackriding, fishing, hiking , biking, boating on Lake Cachuma, antiquing and shopping. Surfing is done at the nearby beaches of Santa Barbara.
This home is 2 short blocks to the Village. This home is a charmer.
You will have a great time sitting on the front porch in the aiderondack rocking chairs and watch time slip slowly by....

  • The Bunkhouse delighted us from the very first moment. We were a three-generational group of five and we all loved it. The house is charming and perfectly equipped with a good kitchen, spectacular master bath, and comfy sleeping. The setting is lovely, and the kids enjoyed skateboarding on the quiet street (cul-de-sac), and playing croquet in the yard. The surrounding countryside is beautiful with things of interest for all of us. Vineyards for the grownups, ostriches , emus, and miniature horses for the kids. The Santa Ynez Museum had an amazing collection of stagecoaches. Good restaurants nearby, some within easy walking distances. We'd love to do it again.

  • My daughter and son-in-law along with us spent 2 nights Dec 5 and 6 and recommend this property. The pictures do not fully show the lovely front lawn and back yard. Comfortable beds and spacious common rooms with quiet street location and short and pleasant walk to town. Owner was pleasant, prompt and accurate with suggestions on local attractions
