* When renting in Shangri-La be sure to get a center unit since they have the largest terraces! We see dolphins swim by all the time and recently we saw sting rays jump out of the water, we see all this from the terrace!

Just a warning!

The resort is lovely, the pool is clean and warm and the concierge was very helpful. We were met at the airport upon our arrival, but could not reach anyone before our departure, so we left the keys with the concierge and took a taxi to the airport. The third bedroom is not part of the unit and has nothing over the window. It is very noisy if the air conditioning is on in the main unit as the air conditioner is located beside that room. The worst part is that I cannot reach the owner to arrange the return of the $500.00 security deposit, it has been four months now and I call and leave messages and send emails on a regular basis but get no response. I would not recommend this particular unit to anyone because of the poor communication and lack of response!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, pet owners, sightseeing.
